Matagumpay na naisagawa kahapon (March 12, 2026) ng 3:30 pm ang 1st Quarter Nationwide
Simultaneous Earthquake Drill sa Busay Elementary School. Pinangunahan ito ng LDRRM
Office, katuwang ang mga personnel mula sa partner agencies: San Jose FS Romblon, PCG, Barangay Busay Health Worker, San Jose DRRM Volunteers, pati na rin ang mga g**o at mag-aaral ng paaralan ng Busay Elementary School.

Layunin ng drill na ito na palakasin ang kahandaan ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at komunidad sa Busay Elementary School sa tamang pagresponde sa lindol upang mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng lahat.

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 106 issued by The Office of the President dated Nov. 09, 2025,, and upon the recommendation of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) I hereby declare the suspension of classes in kindergarten and elementary level only across the Island Municipality, today February 06,2026.


Please remain vigilant and prioritize safety, monitor official updates from PAGASA and advisories from our local MDRRMO..

In reference to Tropical Cyclone Bulletin Number 11 issued by DOST PAG-ASA as of 05:00 PM today 05 February 2026, this Station is 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐬/𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬 plying the route within the area of responsibility of Southern portion of Romblon (Ferrol, Looc, Alcantara, Santa Fe, San Jose) due to hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 brought by Tropical Storm "Basyang" and the possible effect of inclement weather in accordance to the HPCG Memorandum Circular 02-23 entitled " Revised Guideline on the Movement of Vessels During Heavy Weather" dated 23 March 2023.

Further, all vessels are reminded to take precautionary measures and be extra vigilant in monitoring the movement of tropical storm if deemed to be affected by said weather disturbance. Voyage of vessel will resume until further notice and upon improvement of weather and sea condition.

All are advised to take precautionary measures, monitor weather advisories, and ensure the safety of lives and properties.
