Isaiah 40:29 – “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

There are days when the workload feels heavy, deadlines seem endless, and the challenges can leave us physically and emotionally exhausted.

When our own strength is no longer enough, God provides the strength we need to continue. He sees the tiredness that others may not see, the pressures we quietly carry, and the effort we give even when we feel exhausted. His strength allows us to keep going, especially during moments when we feel that we have nothing more to give.

When we acknowledge our limitations and place our burdens in God's hands, we allow Him to restore our strength and renew our purpose. When our strength runs low, God's strength carries us forward. We may become weary, but we do not have to give up. With faith, we can continue to serve with patience, integrity, and compassion, trusting that God will give us the strength to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to us.

Business Permit Inspection

The Municipal Treasurer’s Office, together with the Business Permit and Licensing Officer, Sir Tirso Delfino, conducted an inspection of business establishments to identify those operating without the required business permits.

This activity forms part of the Municipality’s continuing efforts to promote compliance with business registration and licensing requirements and to ensure that all establishments operate in accordance with existing laws and regulations.

We encourage business owners to secure the necessary permits and settle their corresponding obligations to avoid penalties and ensure proper compliance.

The Municipal Treasurer’s Office and the Business Permit and Licensing Office remain committed to fair and consistent enforcement while assisting business owners in meeting their responsibilities.

Proverbs 16:9 – “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”

This verse reminds us that while we may make plans for our lives, our work, and our responsibilities, we must always recognize that God is ultimately the one who guides our path. We can prepare carefully, set goals, and make decisions, but there will always be circumstances beyond our control.

When we place our plans before God, we are reminded to examine our intentions and ask whether what we are doing truly serves the people. As we continue serving, may we always remember that our responsibilities are entrusted to us for a purpose. We do our part faithfully, while trusting God to establish our steps and lead us toward what is right and best for the community we serve.

Psalm 91:4 – “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

This is a beautiful reminder that God is our refuge and protection, especially during times of uncertainty, pressure, and difficulty. In public service, there are many responsibilities that can sometimes feel overwhelming. There are moments when we may feel tired or uncertain, but this verse reminds us that we do not face these challenges alone.

The image of being covered under God’s wings speaks of His care, protection, and presence. It reminds us that when we place our trust in Him, we can find strength and peace even when circumstances are difficult. His faithfulness becomes our source of courage to continue doing what is right.

Our work is a form of stewardship. We are entrusted with resources that belong to the people, and we have the responsibility to protect and manage them properly. Just as God provides protection and refuge for us, we are also called to be responsible stewards of what has been entrusted to our care. When we place our trust in Him, we can face each responsibility with courage, carry out our duties with integrity, and serve the community with a peaceful and faithful heart.

This verse reminds us that everything unfolds according to God’s perfect timing. There are moments when progress feels slow, systems take time to improve, and outcomes are not immediately visible. Yet this verse assures us that every effort, every process, and every improvement has its proper time and purpose.

It teaches us patience and trust in the process. Even when we cannot see the full picture, we are part of something meaningful and purposeful. Our work is not only about present results, but about long-term impact. The systems we strengthen, the integrity we uphold, and the trust we build today will continue to benefit the community in the future.
