Following Executive Order No. 26, Series of 2026, issued by the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija, face-to-face classes at all levels in public and private schools in San Jose City are suspended on August 28, 2026.

Schools and higher education institutions are encouraged to implement appropriate Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM), including online, modular, or asynchronous learning, in accordance with existing DepEd and CHED guidelines, as well as their respective assessments and capacities.

Students, parents, and school personnel are advised to remain vigilant and continue monitoring official announcements from their respective schools and relevant government agencies.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Alinsunod sa umiiral na mga memorandum at patakaran ng Department of Education (DepEd) at Commission on Higher Education (CHED), ang bawat paaralan at higher education institution ay hinihikayat na gumamit ng naaangkop na Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM), online classes, modular learning, asynchronous learning, o iba pang alternatibong pamamaraan ng pagkatuto, kung kinakailangan at naaayon sa kanilang sariling assessment, kapasidad, at umiiral na guidelines, upang matiyak ang pagpapatuloy ng pag-aaral nang hindi isinasakripisyo ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o.

Ayon sa DOST-PAGASA Weather Advisory No. 64, na inilabas ngayong Agosto 17, 2026, alas-5:00 ng hapon, kabilang ang Nueva Ecija sa mga lugar na may inaasahang katamtaman hanggang sa malakas na pag-ulan hanggang hapon ng Agosto 18 dahil sa Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Following the directive of the National Government and the implementation of Memorandum Circular No. 127, the following arrangements shall be observed in San Jose City on August 17, 2026:

Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools shall shift to Alternative Learning Modes (ALMs).

Work in San Jose City Government offices shall be until 12:00 PM only.

Government agencies providing basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, City Engineering (Heavy Equipment and Maintenance), and other vital public services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.
