1. The scholarship program is exclusively for high school and college students.
2. Applicants must be residents and registered voters of Barangay San Roque.
3. Applicants must have a general average of not less than 85.
4. The applicant shall have no other existing scholarship.
5. The applicant must pass the screening test.

The ๐’๐Š ๐’๐š๐ง ๐‘๐จ๐ช๐ฎ๐ž would like to address the concerns regarding the inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community in our Boxing Competition and the scheduling of our Sk Night.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize to everyone who may have been offended or hurt by our previous post. We acknowledge that some members of our community were offended or uncomfortable with the inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community in our Boxing Competition as presented in our post, and we sincerely apologize for any hurt or misunderstanding it may have caused. We are also sorry if our post gave the wrong impression or was perceived differently from what we intended.

We would like to clarify that our intention was never to mock, ridicule, discriminate against, or make fun of the LGBTQ+ community. Our purpose was to promote inclusivity and equal participation, ensuring that our activities and programs are open to everyone, regardless of gender identity or expression. The Boxing Competition is open to participants of all genders and some members of the LGBTQ+ community have expressed their interest in participating, and we simply want to give those who wish to join the opportunity to showcase their skills and talent in boxing.

We value the dignity, respect, and participation of every member of our community. We are also committed to learning from this experience and being more mindful and responsible in the way we communicate moving forward.

For the Boxing Competition, we will ensure that all matches are properly officiated by professional officials, and matchmaking will be carefully arranged according to the appropriate weight classifications to ensure fair and safe competition among the boxers.

As for the concern regarding our SK Disco Night, we would like to clarify that it was never intended to disrespect our beloved Patron Saint, San Roque, or the religious significance of our fiesta. The activity was scheduled at the most convenient time available to accommodate the Katipunan ng mga Kabataan (KK) members and provide them with an opportunity to enjoy, socialize, and take part in the festivities. It was simply our way of maximizing the activities during the fiesta for the enjoyment and participation of our community.

We sincerely apologize if the scheduling of the SK Disco Night gave the wrong impression or caused anyone to feel that we were being disrespectful. That was never our intention. We respect the faith, traditions, and values of our community, and we hope that our activities will be understood in the spirit in which they were intendedโ€”to bring our youth and community together.

We hope this clarification helps everyone understand that our intention is to provide inclusive, meaningful, and enjoyable opportunities for everyone in our community. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and hope that we can move forward with mutual respect and support for all members of our community.
