San Jose Pilot Elementary School

San Jose Pilot Elementary School DepEd San Jose Pilot Elementary School is a public school located in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. By then, the San Jose is still infantile. Military settlement.

During the Pre-War period in the 1940’s existed two popular schools in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. One being Caminawit Central School in Caminawit, and the other being Siete Central Farm School in Central. In 1944, American arrived. They immediately developed the area to serve as a U.S. Mess Halls, hospitals, roads, bridges, even airport have been constructed. After the 2nd World War in 1946, th

e Americans vacated the town leaving sturdy constructions and buildings that was then utilized by local officials and civilians. The Mess Hall situated behind Divine Word College campus served as a school then called San Jose Elementary School, spearheaded by Mrs. Remedios Madrigal as principal. Educational accessibility and convenience dictated the flock of students to San Jose Elementary School draining large chunk of Caminawit Central School and Siete Central Farm School’s population. In the early 1950’s the Mess Hall could no longer accommodate the mounting number of students which gaggled towards its present location, a 4 hectare land donated by the Guillero family. In the early 1960’s, San Jose Elementary School was renamed as San Jose Pilot Elementary School. Through the years, San Jose Pilot Elementary School remained to be the center for educational excellence in San Jose.
