Personnel of the San Jose Fire Station conduct an annual fire hydrant mapping and testing within the San Jose, Batangas area of responsibility as part of their regular operational activities to ensure readiness in the event of a fire incident. This initiative involves locating, inspecting, and assessing the functionality of fire hydrants throughout the municipality to verify adequate water supply and accessibility during emergencies. This activity is especially crucial during periods of extremely hot weather, when fire incidents tend to occur more frequently. Through this proactive measure, the station strengthens its response capability, ensures efficient firefighting operations, and promotes public safety by maintaining reliable fire protection infrastructure in the community.
