Behind every successful organization is a story of courage, resilience, and women who dared to dream beyond expectations. At the heart of Lourdes Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LMPC) is a powerful story of women who chose to believe in their abilities, work together toward a common goal, and create opportunities for themselves, their families, and their community.

What began as a humble livelihood initiative established by 19 women in Occidental Mindoro gradually grew into a thriving cooperative built on shared dreams, determination, and collective effort. From humble beginnings, these women worked together to create better opportunities for themselves and their families, proving that unity, perseverance, and a shared vision can turn simple aspirations into meaningful achievements.

With the support of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO), and other development partners, LMPC continued to strengthen its operations, overcome challenges, and build a cooperative grounded in respect, unity, trust, and accountability. But beyond its growth as a business, the cooperative became a platform where women could develop their skills, contribute to decision-making, take on leadership roles, and gain greater confidence in their capabilities.

LMPC's story celebrates women who have proven their potential goes far beyond traditional expectations. Being mothers and caregivers does not prevent them from becoming entrepreneurs, leaders, and drivers of economic progress. Instead, their experiences, resourcefulness, and determination have become valuable strengths in building a more resilient organization and a better future for their families.

Through their collective efforts, these women have shown that empowerment is not simply about having a source of income—it is also about having a voice, making informed decisions, taking ownership of opportunities, and earning recognition for their contributions. As they continue to grow their cooperative, they inspire other women to believe in themselves, pursue their aspirations, and take an active role in shaping their communities.

Their journey reminds us that when women are given equal opportunities, access to resources, and the freedom to lead, they can break barriers, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change. When women rise together, the impact reaches beyond individual success—it strengthens families, builds communities, and opens doors for future generations.

Isang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa mas makatarungan at inklusibong serbisyong agraryo ang pagbibigay ng libreng serbisyong legal sa mga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) sa Occidental Mindoro. Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng DAR MIMAROPA, Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Occidental Mindoro, at mga lokal na pamahalaan, mas nailalapit ang legal na tulong at konsultasyon sa mga benepisyaryong nangangailangan nito.

Patunay ito ng patuloy na pangako ng DAR na pangalagaan ang karapatan ng mga ARB at tiyaking ang kakulangan sa kakayahang pinansyal ay hindi magiging hadlang sa pagkamit ng katarungan.

Ipinababatid ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) na suspendido ang trabaho sa mga tanggapan ng DAR simula alas-1:00 ng hapon sa Lunes, Setyembre 28, 2026, bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day.

Layunin ng pagdiriwang na bigyang-daan ang mga kawani ng pamahalaan na makapaglaan ng mahalagang oras para sa kanilang pamilya at mapagtibay ang ugnayan at pagsasama-sama ng bawat pamilya.
