Ngayong Araw ng mga Bayani, inaalala at pinararangalan natin ang mga Pilipinong nag-alay ng tapang at sakripisyo para sa ating kalayaan at kinabukasan.

Kasabay ng paggunita, saludo rin ang Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) sa ating mga bayani ng bukid—ang mga magsasakang walang sawang nag-aararo, nagtatanim, at nag-aani upang may pagkain sa hapag ng bawat Pilipino.

Sa bawat ani, may kwento ng tiyaga. Sa bawat produktong agrikultural, may bakas ng kanilang sipag at pagmamalasakit sa bayan.

Patuloy ang DAR sa pagsusulong ng mga programa na nagbibigay suporta sa mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) upang mapaunlad ang kanilang kabuhayan at mas mapalakas ang ambag nila sa agrikultura at seguridad sa pagkain ng bansa.

The activity brought together concerned personnel to review claim folders, assess physical and financial accomplishments, discuss budget and procurement requirements, and identify necessary actions to improve the implementation of land acquisition and distribution activities.

A significant part of the undertaking was the detailed planning for the Agri-Agra Project, focusing on priority landholdings, target areas, ARBs, resources, and implementation milestones. The discussions highlighted the importance of teamwork, accountability, coordination, diligence, and continuous monitoring to ensure targets are achieved and that documentary deficiencies and delays are addressed immediately.

Through collaborative discussions and careful assessment, the participants strengthened their commitment to delivering timely and efficient land acquisition and distribution services in support of the Department’s programs and objectives for CY 2026.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reported that more than 400,000 Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) were issued to farmers across the country, covering over 500,000 hectares of land in the past four years of his administration.

In Occidental Mindoro, 275 CLOAs were awarded to 227 ARBs, covering more than 300 hectares of land from 2024 up to the present, according to the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Occidental Mindoro. | via Dianne Gorembalem

Sa kanyang ika-limang na State of the Nation Address (SONA), muling pinagtibay ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang pangako ng pamahalaan na ganap na maisakatuparan ngayong taon ang pagpapawalang-bisa sa mga utang ng mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).

Kaisa ang Department of Agrarian Reform sa pagpapatupad ng layuning ito. Patuloy na isinusulong ng DAR ang mga programang nagbibigay ng ginhawa at mas maraming oportunidad sa ating mga magsasaka upang makamit ang mas maunlad at masaganang buhay.
