On August 09, 2021, ACOP along with SJCPS personnel attended a successful PWUD'S GENERAL INTERVENTION PROGRAM Graduation Day of drug serrenderees held at Brgy. Kabayan, San Juan City. ACOP personally supports local government plans to rehabilitate and intervene drug addicts, giving them the opportunity to start a new life while becoming a law abiding citizens and helping them to live in righteous path where they be a role model not only to their family but to the community. They can be set as examples to the community who are still the victims in their own wrongdoings to surrender and renew their life.

ACOP and Malou Lee, President, Hinirang Lady Eagle express their gratitude. They donated food parcels to the surrenderees and encouraged them to help the community understand the government's anti-drug campaign.

On August 07, 2021, San Juan City Mayor, Fancis Zamora together with City Government Officials and staff as well as San Juan City Police Station led by PCOL ELPIDIO A RAMIREZ, Acting Chief of Police and SJCPS personnel conducted the 17th wave of food packs distribution donated by private individuals for assistance to San Juaneños at Brgy Batis, Brgy San Perfect and Brgy. Pedro Cruz, San Juan City.

ACOP actively support the Mayor in various City Government Program by personally involving and assisting the distribution of food packages, basic needs and health kits to San Juaneños which aims to reduce the burden on the community during the pandemic.

This intervention program of the City Government is to prevent the spread and amid the rise of Covid 19 cases by implementing the IATF and DOH guidelines such as maintaining physical distance and safety health protocols.

One of ACOP's daily duties is to cautiously and courteously check individuals who are still out during the curfew hours. They are individually checked if they qualify as APOR and those found to violate curfew and other laws were issued OVR and/or warnings.

To ensure the people's safety, ACOP also provided free transportation (libreng sakay) to the residents' destination within the neighboring city.

We are reminding everyone to please comply with and be mindful of the set curfew regulations for your safety and to avoid any inconvenience.

PCOL ELPIDIO "JONG" RAMIREZ was officially designated as the Acting Chief of Police, San Juan City Police Station on May 25, 2021 in a turn-over ceremony, attended by the outgoing Chief of Police, PCOL RODOLFO C HERNANDEZ. It was presided by PGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY, DD, EPD with the guidance and supervision of PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR, RD, NCRPO and attended by San Juan City Mayor, Honorable Francis Zamora and the Vice Mayor, Honorable Warren Villa.

The handing over of the flag and the property book is the highlight of the ceremony. It is a symbol of the passing on and the carrying on of not just the title of being the Chief of Police, but also the duty, accountability and responsibility of protecting and serving the people of San Juan City or the San Juaneños.
