The Office of Veterinary Services conducted a training for animal catchers on the proper and safe handling of snakes with the supervision of one of our veterinarians.

This training aims to strengthen the skills of our animal catchers in responding to snake-related incidents, especially during the rainy sea*on when snakes are more likely to come out of their hiding places and enter communities.

Through proper training and knowledge, we can ensure safer and more effective response while protecting both the public and the animals.

‼️ENSURING THE SAFETY OF PETS DURING TYPHOONS‼️
Our pets are an important part of our homes and families. During typhoons and other natural disasters, it is our responsibility to make sure they are safe and protected from harm.🐾

Here are important measures to help ensure the safety of your pets during a typhoon:

1. Prepare a pet emergency kit that includes food, clean water, medicine, leash, carrier, and a blanket or toy for comfort.
2. Make sure your pet’s vaccination is up-to-date.
3. Make sure your pet has a secure, dry, and safe shelter, away from possible flooding and strong winds.
4. Provide your pet with an Identification tag or Microchip to make it easier to locate them if they get lost.
5. If evacuation is necessary, bring your pets with you and NEVER leave them behind.
6. Monitor weather updates and announcements from local authorities.
7. After the typhoon, check your pets’ condition and make sure they have enough food, clean water, and rest.

📢 PAANYAYA SA MGA PET OWNERS NG BARANGAY ONSE & KABAYANAN 🐶🐱

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Rabies Awareness Month, ang Office of Veterinary Services ng Lungsod ng San Juan ay magsasagawa ng Annual Animal Registration at Libreng Anti-Rabies Vaccination para sa mga alagang a*o at pusa ng mga residente.

Layunin ng programang ito na maprotektahan ang kalusugan ng ating mga alagang hayop at maiwasan ang pagkalat ng rabies sa ating komunidad. Inaanyayahan ang lahat ng pet owners na iparehistro gamit ang qr code sa ibaba o i-click ang link na ito:

at pabakunahan ang kanilang mga alagang hayop upang mapanatiling ligtas ang ating lungsod laban sa rabies.

PAALALA: Ang QR code at link ay para lamang sa magpapabakuna ng anti rabies, hindi po kasama ang magpapakapon.

🐾 LIBRENG KAPON PROGRAM
- Sa JULY 13 -15 and July 20 - 22, 2026, tatanggap ang Office of Veterinary Services ng limitadong 15 na a*o o pusa sa aming opisina para sa libreng kapon. Tatanggapin lamang ay mga lalaking alagang a*o o pusa (male pets), Aspin at Puspin, lalo na ang mga stray o rescued animals.

📌 Mga Paalala at Requirements:
• Ito po ay para sa mga residente lamang ng BRGY. ONSE at KABAYANAN
• Isang (1) alagang hayop lamang bawat pet owner ang maaaring tanggapin
• Ang alagang hayop ay dapat 8 buwan pataas na ang edad, malusog at walang sakit
• 8–12 oras na fasting (walang pagkain bago ang operasyon, maaaring painumin ng kaunting tubig)
• Paliguan ang alagang hayop isang araw bago ang schedule ng kapon
• Siguraduhing may maayos na kulungan o carrier para sa ligtas na transportasyon
• Dalhin ang pet vaccination record kung mayroon

📩 Upang makapagpa-schedule ng kapon, mangyaring magpadala ng mensahe sa aming page. Ang mga slot ay limitado lamang at ibibigay sa mga maagang makakapagpa-reserve.

📍 Abangan lamang ang mga susunod na anunsyo para sa schedule ng animal registration, anti-rabies vaccination, at kapon program sa iba’t ibang barangay ng San Juan City.
