95th Infantry “Salaknib” Battalion Nakiisa sa Simultaneous Foot March bilang bahagi sa Anibersaryong Aktibidad ng 502nd Infantry "Liberator" Brigade

San Mariano, Isabela- Nakiisa ang 95th Infantry “Salaknib” Battalion sa isinagawang Simultaneous Foot March bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng anibersaryo ng 502nd Infantry Brigade na ginanap noong ika- 22 ng Marso taong kasalukuyan sa Bayan ng San Mariano. Ang nasabing foot march ay naglalayong palakasin ang pisikal na kahandaan, disiplina, at pagkakaisa ng mga kawal, kasabay ng pagbibigay-pugay sa patuloy na serbisyo at dedikasyon ng brigade sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at seguridad sa nasasakupan nito. Ipinakita rin sa aktibidad ang matibay na samahan at diwa ng bayanihan sa hanay ng mga sundalo bilang bahagi ng kanilang misyon para sa sambayanan.

San Mariano, Isabela – The 95th Infantry (SALAKNIB) Battalion, participated in the conduct of Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony on March 19, 2026, at Headquarters, Brgy. Zone 1, San Mariano, Isabela, in celebration of the 129th Philippine Army Founding Anniversary.

The activity was led by LTC Ericson C Bulosan, Commanding Officer of 95IB, together with officers and enlisted personnel, demonstrating unity, discipline, and unwavering commitment to duty.

During the ceremony, LTC Bulosan read the message of Lt Gen Antonio G Nafarrete, Commanding General of the Philippine Army. The message emphasized the importance of service, professionalism, and steadfast commitment to the Filipino people.
It also recognized the sacrifices and dedication of every soldier, urging them to uphold the core values of honor, patriotism, and selfless service in the performance of their duties.

The 95th Infantry (SALAKNIB) Battalion reaffirmed its commitment to its mandate of protecting the people, securing communities, and supporting peace and development efforts within its area of responsibility.

Gamu, Isabela (March 12, 206)— Ten “remnants” of the Communist Party of the Philippines’ Ilocos-Cordillera Regional Committee (ICRC) were caught in two successive raids by military and police operatives Wednesday in Tarlac and Quezon City, the Philippine Army’s 5th Infantry Division (5ID) said Thursday.

Seven suspects were hauled from a rebel safe house in Pag-asa Street, Baras-Baras in Tarlac City by virtue of warrants of arrest. Among those caughr were Dr. Ana Marie Rilloroza, an alleged executive committee member of the ICRC facing attempted murder charges, and Gabriel Kennedy Bangibang, identified as a former secretary of Kilusang Larangang Gerilya codenamed “Baggas” for Kalinga province and an alleged consultant of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).

Also arrested were Theresa Falitnang Forag, alleged finance officer of a guerrilla unit squad facing qualified trafficking charges; Javar Anglao Sugao, a former intelligence operative of KLG “Baggas”; Renato Ginez, a former member of KLG Abra-Mt. Province-Ilocos Sur (Ampis); and Ranee Francella Tuazon Hullana and Marc Arriane Tolentino Mendiola, both tagged as members of an NPA unit in Kalinga. Mendiola was also arrested for illegal possession of fi****ms and explosives.

Yet in separate raid at a condominium unit in Fairview, Quezon City, three more, including Bobby Calsiyao, also known as “Lucky” or “Laki,” a former member of KLG “Baggas” operating in Abra.

Calsiyao is facing multiple charges, including frustrated murder, destructive arson and attempted murder.

Major General Gulliver L. Señires, commanding general of the 5th ID said, the operations demonstrated strong collaboration among government forces and the community.

Authorities though clarified earlier reports that while 11 individuals were initially reported arrested, one person is still undergoing verification, bringing the confirmed number of apprehended ICRC remnants to only 10 yet.

All 10 were taken by policemen to face their cases in the courts.

Lawyers and paralegals from the Free Legal Assistance Group-Northern Luzon will be assisting them, said lawyer Ryan Solano, FLAG-NL regional coordinator said.

95IB, JOINS NATIONWIDE LAUNCH OF NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH 2026

San Mariano, Isabela — Officers and enlisted personnel of the 95th Infantry (SALAKNIB) Battalion, under the leadership of LTC ERICSON C BULOSAN INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, 95IB, 5ID, PA, officially kicked off the National Women’s Month Celebration 2026 with a simultaneous flag-raising ceremony at H95IB, Brgy. Zone 1, San Mariano, Isabela.

Highlighting the program was the reading of the message of Commanding General Philippine Army and Chief of Staff Armed Forces of the Philippines, a reaffirmation of commitment to empower women through leadership, service, professional excellence, and equal opportunity. Both organizations stand together in promoting respects, inclusion, and meaningful participation of women in nation-building.

This unit continued commitment to promoting gender equality, recognizing the vital contributions of women in nation-building, and supporting the goals of National Women’s Month 2026.

Ang naturang pagsuko ay bunga ng patuloy na presensya at pakikipag-ugnayan ng kasundaluhan sa mga kanayunan sa pamamagitan ng Modified Community Support Program (MCSSP), na naglalayong ilapit ang serbisyo ng gobyerno at palakasin ang ugnayan sa komunidad. Binigyang-diin ng yunit na ang kaganapang ito ay patunay ng lumalakas na tiwala ng mamamayan sa pamahalaan at sa kasundaluhan, kasabay ng patuloy na panawagan sa iba pang kasapi ng armadong grupo na samantalahin ang pagkakataong magbalik-loob at magsimula ng panibagong buhay tungo sa kapayapaan at kaunlaran.

San Mariano, Isabela - On 23 February 2026, LTJG CYRIL MARK V LOMINIO, PCG - Commander of Coast Guard Station Isabela of the Philippine Coast Guard, paid a courtesy visit to LTC ERICSON C BULOSAN INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 95th Infantry (Salaknib) Battalion, Philippine Army. The visit was conducted at the battalion headquarters as part of efforts to strengthen inter-agency coordination, foster professional relations, and enhance collaboration between the two services in maintaining peace, security, and disaster response readiness within the province of Isabela.

During the meeting, both commanders exchanged updates on their respective units’ operational activities, areas of concern, and potential avenues for joint cooperation, particularly in coastal security, humanitarian assistance, and support to law enforcement operations. The courtesy call highlighted the shared commitment of the Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine Army to uphold public safety and national security through unified action.
