Ethereal yet unyielding. Inspired by the graceful "𝑇𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑘," the Great White Egret often seen gliding above the rice fields of Villa Fuerte, this ensemble embodies the element of Air—the invisible force that sustains life and carries hope across every harvest. Like the wind that bends the Palay yet never breaks it, the design reflects quiet strength, movement, and resilience.

The intricate details crafted from recycled bottle lids form an armor-like bodice, symbolizing protection—just as the Tagak watches over the fields and mirrors the vigilance of farmers safeguarding their golden harvest. Meanwhile, repurposed plastic bottles are transformed into majestic wings, each piece representing individual responsibility that, when united, can rise together to create collective change.

Light yet powerful, this ensemble carries a message:

The 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐨 commemorated its 𝟖𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 through lively and colorful 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞.

In line with the theme, “𝑺𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒐 @𝟖𝟎: 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒈 𝒏𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏, 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒖𝒌𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏,” the activity gathered residents, including representatives from various agencies and institutions, as well as local officials, all united in celebration. Also present was our very own 𝐁𝐛. 𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐚, representing Barangay Villa Fuerte in the Binibining San Mateo 2026.

The parade reflected the unity, resilience, and shared vision of a progressive San Mateo, honoring its rich past while looking forward to a brighter and more abundant future.

A proud and momentous evening for Barangay Villa Fuerte as 𝐁𝐛. 𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐚 was officially presented as our candidate during the Official Sashing and Presentation Night of Binibining San Mateo 2026.

She was proudly accompanied on stage by our SK Chairperson, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐕. 𝐋𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐞 and our Barangay Captain, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐑. 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐨, carrying the full support and pride of the Villa Fuerte community. 💛
