The July accomplishments reflect the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly under Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO), by strengthening intelligence-driven law enforcement, enhancing police visibility, and intensifying operations against activities that threaten public safety and community security. These efforts also support the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure safer communities through professional, accountable, and responsive policing.
Chief PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., emphasized that sustained police presence and consistent law enforcement remain key to preventing crime and maintaining public confidence.
"Every illegal firearm removed from our streets and every illegal gambling operation dismantled helps create a safer environment for our communities. These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our police officers and the continuing partnership of the public in keeping peace and order."
He also underscored the importance of citizen participation in crime prevention.
"Hindi lamang ito tagumpay ng PNP. Tagumpay ito ng bawat mamamayang patuloy na nakikipagtulungan sa amin. Kapag sama-sama tayong kumikilos laban sa kriminalidad, mas nagiging ligtas ang ating mga komunidad."
The PNP assured the public that operations against illegal fi****ms, illegal gambling, and other forms of criminality will continue in accordance with the law while upholding accountability, transparency, and respect for human rights. Guided by its commitment to "Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman," the organization remains steadfast in delivering responsive and people-centered police service nationwide.
