Mas lalong sumasaya at lumalakas ang Sayaw Galaw: Zumba Fitness ng mga kawani ng Municipality of San Pascual! ๐Ÿ’™ Unti-unti ay dumarami ang mga empleyadong nakikilahok sa ating regular na Zumba sessionโ€”isang patunay na mas pinapahalagahan natin ang kalusugan, kasiyahan, at samahan sa ating workplace.

Mas naging masigla pa ang programa dahil nakibahagi rin ang mga kapulisan, na buong siglang nakisayaw at nakigalaw kasama ang mga empleyado ng munisipyo. Ang kanilang pakikiisa ay nagpapakita ng suporta sa mga programang nagtataguyod ng healthy lifestyle at community camaraderie. ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’ƒ

Isang masigla at punong-puno ng enerhiya na hapon ang ating pinagsaluhan sa ginanap na SAYAW GALAW ZUMBA FITNESS noong Pebrero 25, 2026, ganap na 4:15 ng hapon sa Municipal Lobby ng Municipal Hall of San Pascual.

WHAT ARE THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION RULES ON OVERTIME?

In the government, overtime work isnโ€™t automatic โ€” itโ€™s governed by official CSC-DBM guidelines on overtime services and pay. One of the key issuances is the CSC and DBM Joint Circular No. 1, Series of 2015, titled โ€œPolicies and Guidelines on Overtime Services and Overtime Pay for Government Employees.โ€

๐Ÿ“Œ Hereโ€™s what the CSC rules say:
โœ”๏ธ **Overtime is authorized only when EXTREMELY NECESSARY โ€” that is, when work cannot be completed in regular hours and delay would cause public prejudice, financial loss, or embarrassment to government performance.
โœ”๏ธ The work must be officially authorized in writing by the head of office or authorized official before the overtime hours are rendered.
โœ”๏ธ Overtime compensation is subject to available funds and budget limitations; overtime pay cannot exceed 50% of an employeeโ€™s total basic salary per year, and the agencyโ€™s total overtime pay cannot exceed 5% of its personnel services budget unless DBM approval is secured.
โœ”๏ธ Alternative compensation like Compensatory Time Off (CTO) may be given instead of cash pay, especially for higher-level staff or where authorized by the Circular.

In short: overtime in government is NOT automatic โ€” it must be justified by service exigency, properly authorized, and aligned with CSC-DBM rules. When done right, it protects both public service delivery and employee rights.
