LOOK | Bagong Silang ES’ 21st Commencement Exercises 🎓

On March 30, 2026, the school proudly celebrated a meaningful milestone filled with achievement, perseverance, and new beginnings.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our Guest Speaker, Ms. Rochel Climaco, a proud alumna, for sharing her inspiring message that truly motivated our graduates to pursue their dreams.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Ricky Teronuevo – EPS-LRMDS, Division Representative, Hon. Reinelin Talaga - Barangay Chairwoman, Hon. Carmella Tanael – Councilor, Committee on Education, and Mrs. Rhia Timbol - SPTA President for their presence and unwavering support in making this event truly meaningful and successful.

To Ma’am Edita Fajardo - PSDS Cluster 9 and our school head, Ma’am Maria Avila, we thank you for your leadership and guidance in all aspects. Bagong Silang ES proudly celebrated the 17th Moving-Up Ceremony on March 27, 2026! Led by Ms. Leny Rose Saludes and Ms. Bernadeth Arancel, the ceremony featured inspiring messages, awards, and joyful performances.

We extend our thanks to our distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Marion Acierto for inspiring our young learners as they move to another level.

LOOK | Bagong Silang ES successfully held its first-ever Gawad Sibol 2026 🌱

On March 26, 2026, Bagong Silang ES held its Gawad Sibol where faculty, non-teaching personnel, parent-partners, and stakeholders were recognized and awarded for their achievements throughout the academic year 2025-2026.

Bagong Silang ES extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who continuously supports the school no matter how big or small. Special thanks to City Vice Mayor Niña Almoro for sparing your time with us as we conduct this first-ever event. To Hon. Reinelin Talaga, Hon. Carmella Tanael, and Hon. Ferdinand Caoayan, for your always being present in our school’s achievements. To Dr. Regina Ramirez - PSDS , for her appreciation and support to everyone. To Ma’am Edita Fajardo - PSDS Cluster 9, for the guidance and leadership. Most especially to our very hardworking school head, Ma’am Maria Avila, for always seeing the best in us and for ensuring that we are heard and recognized. We also extend our gratitude to Ms. Maralou Junio and Mr. Patrick Jude Basco for spearheading this event and making it possible.

GAWAD SIBOL LOGO🌱

SYMBOLISM AND SIGNIFICANCE
The “B” at the center stands for Bagong Silang Elementary School. It represents the core of Gawad Sibol—the school itself.

The sprout in the middle represents the Sampaguita plant, symbolizing the distinct culture of San Pedro City.

The horizon at the lower part of the word “Sibol” portrays Barangay Bagong Silang. It highlights the word “Sibol,” which signifies a new day or a new beginning.

The luminous ring depicts the “Circle of Life,” while the sparkle (“kislap” or “kinang”) represents hope.

The two leaves under “Sibol” represent the foundation or tagline of BSES: “Husay at Disiplina.”

The four leaves above “Gawad” portray the four important pillars of Gawad Sibol: students, teachers, parents, and the community.

Finally, the sprout of Sampaguita flowers symbolizes the future of Bagong Silang Elementary School.
