City of San Pedro, Laguna โ July 28, 2026 โ The Schools Division Office (SDO) of San Pedro City successfully conducted the Ceremonial Turnover of Laptops to Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teachers and the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA) Officers on July 28, 2026, at the 5th Floor, SDO Building, City of San Pedro, Laguna.
The event highlighted the Schools Division's unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of education through technology integration and strengthening the professional community of public school teachers. The distribution of laptops to KS1 teachers aims to provide educators with essential digital tools that will support innovative teaching strategies, improve classroom instruction, and promote more efficient delivery of quality basic education.
The program was graced by Hon. Art Mercado, Mayor of the City of San Pedro, who led the ceremonial turnover of laptops and administered the oath of office to the newly elected PPSTA officers. His presence underscored the City Government's steadfast support for the welfare and professional growth of public school teachers.
Also present during the ceremony were Dr. Jamie R. Ambayec, Department Head of the City Education and Development Office (CEDO), together with the top management officials of the Schools Division Office of San Pedro City.
