Barangay Looc, San Remigio, Cebu has officially released the Bagong Pilipinas Presidential Scholarship Grant to five (5) selected 4th-year student beneficiaries from the barangay.

The scholarship grant, provided under the Barangay Makikinabang / Bagong Pilipinas Barangay Scholarship Program through the Office of the President’s Socio-Civic Projects Fund, aims to provide financial support to students as they pursue and complete their education.

READING COMPREHENSION PALIHUG‼️

PAHIBALO SA PUBLIKO BAHIN SA DSWD UPLIFT PROGRAM PARA SA MGA KATEGORYA NGA "POOR" (kabos) UG "NEAR-POOR" (hapit na mahimong kabos) (Wala apil ang mga benepisyaryo sa 4Ps, Walang Gutom, ug mga SSS member nga ubos ang kita)

Aron malikayan ang kalibog, ania ang pipila ka importanteng pahinumdom bahin sa pagpatuman sa DSWD UPLIFT Program:

📌 Ipadala sa DSWD ang listahan sa mga benepisyaryo ngadto sa mga barangay. Ang papel sa barangay mao lamang ang pagpahibalo sa mga nalakip sa listahan bahin sa iskedyul sa pagpanghatag (payout), lugar sa distribusyon, ug mga dokumentong gikinahanglan.

📌 Dili ang barangay ang naghimo sa listahan sa mga benepisyaryo. Gibase sa DSWD ang listahan sa Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) ug uban pang mga proseso sa pag-validate o pagpamatuod sa datos.

📌 Dili na kinahanglan nga magparehistro sa barangay aron malakip sa UPLIFT. Kung kwalipikado ang inyong panimalay, makita na kini sa mga rekord sa DSWD.

📌 Sa dili pa mag payout, magpahigayon ang DSWD og validation ug deduplication (pagsusi aron malikayan ang doble nga pagdawat) aron masiguro nga ang mga kwalipikado lamang nga benepisyaryo ang makadawat sa ayuda.

📌 Kung ang ulo sa panimalay namatay na o dili makahimo sa pagdawat sa ayuda, mahimo siyang pulihan sa usa ka hamtong nga miyembro sa samang panimalay nga nalakip usab sa listahan sa CBMS, subay sa polisiya sa DSWD.

📌 Alang niadto o anaa sa layo nga lugar tungod sa trabaho o kadtong dili makatambong sa maong higayon, mahimong tugotan ang usa ka representante kung adunay pagtugot gikan sa DSWD ug kung ang representante usa usab ka miyembro sa panimalay nga nalakip sa mga rekord sa CBMS.

📌 Ang mga opisyal nga pahibalo bahin sa payout, listahan sa mga benepisyaryo, ug uban pang mga detalye magagikan lamang sa DSWD ug ipahibalo pinaagi sa inyong barangay o lokal nga opisina sa social welfare.

Pahinumdom: Basaha ug sabta pag-ayo ang mga opisyal nga pahibalo sa dili pa mopaambit og impormasyon sa social media aron malikayan ang pagkaylap sa sayop nga impormasyon ug dili kinahanglan nga malibog.

📢 OFFICIAL ADVISORY

Good day, residents of Barangay Looc!

Please be informed that the Office of the Punong Barangay, Barangay Treasurer, and Barangay Secretary will not be able to issue Barangay requirements or conduct regular transactions from June 25 to June 27, 2026.

This is because our Barangay Officials, along with the Barangay Secretary and Treasurer, will be attending a 3-Day Seminar on the Formulation of the Barangay Development Plan (BDP) in Cebu City.

Despite this, the Barangay Hall will remain open, and there will be on-duty BHW and a Barangay Administrative Assistant to attend to inquiries and provide any other assistance they can offer.

⚠️ REMINDER: If you need any documents such as:

✅Barangay Clearance
✅Barangay Certification
✅Certificate of Residency
✅Certificate of Indigency
✅Other Barangay requirements

Please secure or process them before June 25, 2026 to avoid any delays.

Regular operations and transactions at the Barangay Hall will resume on June 29, 2026 (Monday).
