This year's Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration in line with the International Youth Day themed "𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬", the SK Officials of Barangay Luyang together with the Youth Officers will bring you 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 in the wild and prepared 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 you will truly enjoy and remember!

​It is time to connect and showcase what a Luyangnon youth can do because 𝐘𝐎𝐔th are called to be here and 𝐘𝐎𝐔th belong here.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Remigio extends its warmest congratulations to the 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻, led by 𝗦𝗞 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 and his dedicated 𝗦𝗞 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, as well as the 𝗣𝗬𝗔𝗣 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 headed by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝗼𝘀, for the massive success of their Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration.

In line with this year’s theme, "𝑫𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒔, 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔," the youth of Canagahan proved that when diverse minds work together, extraordinary things happen through 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 2026..

The action-packed, one-day event brought non-stop energy, teamwork, and excitement—highlighted by an incredible Amazing Race made possible alongside our passionate local San Remigiohanon Facilitators, the 𝑳𝒐𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 (LYDC), and the 𝑳𝒐𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 (LYDO).

From Poblacion, Batad, To-ong, Dapdap, and Bancasan, our young people are coming together—not just to celebrate, but to connect, create memories, share talents, and strengthen the bond among our youth. 🤝🏻

Because sometimes, the best celebrations are not about how grand the event is, but about who we celebrate it with.

And this time, we’re bringing five communities together for one unforgettable celebration of what it means to be young, united, and full of possibilities.

𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗥𝗬-𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗢 𝗪𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗨-𝟭𝟴 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗚𝗢𝗩’𝗦 𝗖𝗨𝗣

We are inviting all kabataang San Remigiohanons under-18 players to join with our official Basketball try-out for Gov’s Cup 2026.

All players shall bring with them the following requirements during the try-out (if possible):

𝟭. 𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥𝗦

1.1. All players must be eighteen (18) years old and younger, specifically those born on or after January 1, 2008

1.2. All players must be registered voters of the LGU that he is playing for on or before January 1, 2026 to be proven by submitting a copy of their voter’s certification from the COMELEC;

If the player is still a minor upon the deadline of submission of requirements, the player must present a copy of either of his parents’ voters’ certificates and should be registered in the LGU on or before January 1, 2026.

For players below eighteen (18) years old, once a player has played for a municipality, he shall be permanently affiliated with that municipality and shall not be allowed to represent or transfer to any other municipality in succeeding tournaments.

1.3. Players must be physically fit to be proven by submitting a copy of their medical clearance, remarked “Fit to Play” by a physician.

1.4. One (1) entry per division per municipality;

1.5. Active high school and/or college varsity players (CESAFI, NCAA, UAAP), Semi-Pro and Pro (PBA, VISMIN CUP, NBL, MPBL, PSL, D-LEAGUE, ABL) shall NOT be ALLOWED to play.

𝟮. 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦

2.1 Voter’s Certification issued by COMELEC (latest) for players who are 18 years old. For players who are not yet registered voters, the following documents shall be accepted in lieu of the player’s Voter’s Certification:
a. Parent’s Voter’s Certification issued by the COMELEC;
b. Barangay Certificate of Residency of the player;
c. PSA Birth Certification; and d. School Record (Form 137 or Transcript of Records), if
applicable.

2.2 Individual picture of the players, coach, assistant coach and team manager, utility and statistician – 2 x 2 sizes. If the player cannot submit the ID picture at a
given time, the said player cannot play during the tournament period;

2.3 Players must personally appear during the screening schedule, otherwise the said player cannot play during the tournament and cannot be replaced anymore.

🌱 YOUTH ON AGRICULTURE | After many years of inactivity, the 4H Club – San Remigio Chapter has been successfully revived through the initiative of the Municipal Agriculture Office, under the leadership of Municipal Agriculturist Ma’am Jane B. Arcillas. This milestone marks the reactivation and organization of its officers and members, renewing the commitment to engage and empower young people in the field of agriculture.

Through the support of the Gender and Development (GAD) Fund, the newly reactivated 4H Club officers and members participated in the Fundamental Agricultural Skills Training and Orientation on 4H Club Organization.

The activity was graced by Hon. Mayor Mariano Martinez and Hon. Vice Mayor Alphonsine C. Gonzales, who both shared words of encouragement and motivation, inspiring the youth to become advocates for agriculture and encouraging more young people to take part in the 4H Club.

Also sharing his personal experiences and insights was Hon. Iluminado Ornopia, Committee Chair on Agriculture, who encouraged the youth to continuously enhance their agricultural skills, appreciate the invaluable contributions of farmers and agricultural workers, and recognize their vital role in ensuring food security.

Our office likewise facilitated meaningful discussions on the Role of Youth in Agriculture, emphasizing that agriculture is among the 10 Centers of Youth Participation that the Sangguniang Kabataan is mandated to prioritize through relevant programs and initiatives.

In this regard, youth organizations such as the 4H Club can play an important role in supporting and realizing agricultural programs, projects, and activities. Through active participation in the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), young people can help advocate for relevant policies and programs that strengthen food security, promote agricultural advocacy, advance gender-responsive agriculture initiatives, and build the capacity of young people in the agricultural sector.

The entire activity carries the theme:

🌾 “𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴: 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘈𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴-𝘰𝘯 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨.” 🌾

This is only the beginning. In the coming days, the participants will further strengthen their knowledge and skills through actual hands-on demonstrations and practical learning activities at the Municipal Nursery.
