The recognition of San Ricardo as a Highly Functional Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) is a clear testament to the municipalityโ€™s solid leadership, shared responsibility, and strong culture of collaboration. This milestone reflects years of commitment to peace, safety, and good governance, built on the foundation laid by former Mayor Roy Yap Salinas, whose leadership helped steer our programs in the right direction.
We also extend our sincere commendation to MPOC Focal Person Kevin Pain Mindajao Calubag and MLGOO Ma'am Jill for their unwavering dedication, technical guidance, and hands-on support that ensured the effective implementation of peace and order and anti-drug initiatives. Their hard work and perseverance played a vital role in achieving this distinction.
Our deepest gratitude goes to all LGU employees, barangay officials, partner agencies, and stakeholders who worked tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to uphold public safety and community well-being. This recognition is not the success of a few, but a shared victory of every San Ricardohan who believes in unity, accountability, and progress. Together, we move forwardโ€”stronger, safer, and more committed to serving our people.
And with the leadership of our Now Mayor Doktora Femilyn Sobrevilla Domingo, we will continue to strengthen peace and order initiatives, sustain a drug-free community, and uphold responsive and people-centered governance.
With unity, dedication, and shared responsibility, the Municipality of San Ricardo remains committed to protecting the welfare of every San Ricardohan and advancing a safer, more progressive community for all.๐Ÿ’–

Mayor Doktora Femilyn Sobrevilla Domingo visited the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Headquarters on January 15, 2026, to personally follow up the municipalityโ€™s request for a new fire truck. The visit highlights the Mayorโ€™s proactive leadership and strong commitment to improving the emergency response capabilities of San Ricardo.
During the visit, Mayor Domingo met with OIC FCSUPT Manuel M. Manuel, who warmly welcomed us. As the discussion progressed, important matters regarding fire protection services and disaster preparedness were thoroughly discussed. Sir Manuel acknowledged the efforts of the LGU and emphasized that the municipalityโ€™s newly constructed BFP Building is a significant factor in strengthening local fire services.
He further informed the Mayor that because San Ricardo already has a new BFP facility in place, the municipality will be included among the priority recipients for the allocation of a new fire truck. This positive development reflects the LGUโ€™s readiness and compliance with national standards.
This visit marks a meaningful step forward in ensuring faster and more effective emergency response, reinforcing the LGUโ€™s dedication to public safety and the welfare of every San Ricardohanon.๐Ÿ’–

The Local Government Unit of San Ricardo, under the strong and compassionate leadership of our Active Mayor, Doktora Femilyn Sobrevilla Domingo, is continuously doing everything possible to assist passengers who are currently stranded at the San Ricardo Port due to Tropical Storm โ€œAda.โ€ The inclement weather brought by the storm caused the temporary suspension of sea travel, leaving many passengers unable to proceed with their journeys.
In response, the LGU immediately mobilized its resources to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all affected individuals. Through the active participation of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by Maโ€™am Joyce Lebron, temporary tents were promptly set up to serve as shelter, while food packs, drinking water, and basic necessities were distributed to stranded passengers, including families, children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.
These relief operations are being closely supervised by the Philippine Coast Guard, ensuring that safety measures, proper coordination, and standard protocols are strictly followed during the duration of the port closure. The Mayorโ€™s Office Staff, headed by Sir Demetrio Sobrevilla, are also on site, working tirelessly to support the operations and to ensure that assistance is delivered efficiently and in an organized manner.
Furthermore, the LGU acknowledges the invaluable support of the Barangay Officials of Barangay Benit, who extended their full manpower and cooperation to help manage the situation at the port. Through unity, teamwork, and responsive leadership, the LGU of San Ricardo remains committed to protecting and serving its constituents, especially during emergencies and weather-related challenges.๐Ÿ’–
