The Barangay Government of San Roque, headed by Kap. The courtesy call marked the beginning of a collaborative partnership between the Barangay Government and the nursing students in implementing community-based health and development initiatives. Through the COPAR Program, the students aim to work closely with the community in promoting health education, family well-being, and active community participation.

In preparation for the upcoming Feast Month of our Patron Saint, San Roque, the Barangay Government of San Roque, headed by Kap. Bebeth Macrohon, successfully conducted this week's Barangay Kalinisan Day.

The Barangay Government of San Roque, headed by Kap. Bebeth Macrohon through the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC), successfully conducted the Capacity Enhancement Building Seminar-Workshop and Training on Basic Drug Control and Prevention, together with the Information Drive and Advocacy Education Program on the Causes and Effects of Illegal Drug Use.

The activity aimed to strengthen the knowledge and capabilities of barangay officials, staff, volunteers, and stakeholders in promoting a drug-free community while reinforcing the importance of prevention, awareness, and collective responsibility in addressing illegal drugs.

Through informative discussions and advocacy sessions, participants gained a deeper understanding of the provisions of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), the harmful effects of illegal drug use, and the vital role of every community member in safeguarding our youth and families from the dangers of substance abuse.

The Barangay Government of San Roque remains steadfast in its commitment to building a safer, healthier, and drug-free community through continuous education, collaboration, and proactive community engagement.

During the Regular Session of the Sangguniang Barangay, the Barangay Government of San Roque, under the leadership of Punong Barangay Bebeth Macrohon, officially turned over the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝟓) 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. The Barangay Government also proudly presents the 𝐄-𝐁𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 ₱𝟏𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. This E-Bike will serve as the barangay’s security vehicle, enhancing the mobility of our barangay personnel in conducting patrol operations, emergency response, inspections, and other public service activities to better protect and serve our constituents.

Barangay San Roque was recognized by the Philippine Red Cross – Zamboanga City Chapter for collecting the highest number of blood units through community-based mobile blood donations from July 2025 to June 2026.

This award is a testament to the generosity and compassion of our residents and volunteers who willingly gave a part of themselves to help save lives. ❤️
