The PuroKalusugan Program brings primary healthcare directly to the grassroots level. As a localized initiative of the San Simon Rural Health Unit (RHU), it aims to provide accessible and quality healthcare services to residents directly in their respective puroks.

Through the initiative of the OIC-MHO Dr. Joey Rae Carlos in collaboration with the DOH Nurses Deployed (NDP) and other healthcare workers, the program delivers community-based healthcare services while focusing on priority health programs such as Nutrition, Immunization, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), and Tuberculosis (TB) prevention and management.

The program ensures the provision of medical consultations, health education, disease prevention, early detection, and appropriate treatment, bringing essential healthcare closer to every Simonians and making quality health services more accessible at the grassroots level.
