As part of its commitment to inclusive and efficient public service, the San Teodoro District Jail, under the leadership of ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐จ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ง๐ , successfully conducted an onsite Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration and updating activity for personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL)
The initiative was coordinated by Chief, Welfare and Development
Officer, JO2 Jackelyn L Gaco and JO1 Arvin C Gutierrez, Help Desk Officer, in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Oriental Mindoro Provincial Office, to ensure that eligible participants were able to register and update their PhilSys records, promoting greater access to government programs and essential services.
The registration and updating process was facilitated by Ms. Jamaica P. Cabatic and Mr. Vince Arjay Masculino of the PSA, Oriental Mindoro Provincial Office, who assisted participants in completing their PhilSys registration and updating, ensuring accurate and reliable national identification records.
The activity resulted in nine (9) new PhilSys registrations and two (2) record updates. In addition, twenty-seven (27) PDLs\ received their ePhilIDs, while four (4) jail personnel also received their ePhilIDs, bringing the total number of ePhilIDs issued by the PSA to thirty-one (31).
This collaborative initiative reinforces our shared commitment to expanding access to government services, promoting inclusive identity registration, and delivering responsive public service to every eligible Filipino.
