The Information Drive on Proper Waste Management in the Jail Facility was successfully conducted under the initiative of San Teodoro District Jail Nurse, SJO1 Carie Mae A. Sandoval, in partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of San Teodoro.

The lecture facilitated by Mr. Johndel A. Cruzat, emphasized the importance of proper waste segregation, cleanliness and sanitation, health and safety awareness, and shared responsibility among jail personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

The seminar was facilitated by SJO2 Rommel V Ramos and JO1 Kenneth C Borela, both STAR team member who shared valuable insights and practical guidance to all available personnel of this jail unit.

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology – San Teodoro District Jail spearheaded by π—π—œπ—‘π—¦π—£ π—π—˜π—₯π—’π— π—˜ 𝗦 π—šπ—”π—₯π—Ÿπ—˜π—π—’, Distrcit Jail Warden, proudly joins the celebration of the Santacruzan 2026 as part of the Flores de Mayo tradition.

JO1 Jane Ruth J Del Mundo representing the jail unit as Reyna Emperatriz, symbolizing grace, dignity, and faith in this meaningful cultural and religious procession. The title β€œReyna Emperatriz” represents the imperial majesty associated with Saint Helena, mother of Emperor Constantine, in the Santacruzan tradition.

The 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀 π‚πšπ«π©πžπ§π­π«π² 𝐍𝐂 𝐈𝐈 Assessment on Top Cabinet Making was successfully conducted with the participation of four (4) BJMP personnel and twenty (20) male Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

Guided by our District Jail Warden, π‰πˆππ’π π‰π„π‘πŽπŒπ„ 𝐒 π†π€π‘π‹π„π‰πŽ and supervised by JO1 Jane Ruth J. Del Mundo, Chief Welfare and Development Officer, together with JO1 Arvin C. Gutierrez, JO1 Harold James S. Benzon, and JO1 Jericho A. Seno, the activity was closely monitored by two Competency Assessors.

The participants showcased their skills in measurement, assembly, and installation through the actual fabrication of an overhead cabinet β€” a vital requirement for TESDA Carpentry NC II.

βœ… All 24 participants proudly passed the assessment, reflecting the effectiveness of BJMP’s ongoing skills development and rehabilitation program.

Sustaining technical and vocational training like Carpentry NC II ensures that PDL gain valuable skills, paving the way for productivity, livelihood, and successful reintegration into the community.

San Teodoro District Jail under the leadership of π‰πˆπ’ππ π‰π„π‘πŽπŒπ„ 𝐒 π†π€π‘π‹π„π‰πŽ, District Jail Warden, successfully conducted the Special Satellite Registration for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) in preparation for the November 2, 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

A total of nineteen (19) PDL availed of the registration services, including new registration, transfer, correction of entries, and reactivation. The activity was facilitated in coordination with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to ensure that qualified PDL are given the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

After the registration, Election Officer Mrs. Manzano also conducted a short orientation regarding the election process and the importance of responsible voting.
