On September 3, 2026, at about 9:00 AM onwards, under the leadership of PCOL JOEY T GOFORTH, Chief of Police, Caloocan City Police Station, and through the supervision of PLT MA GRACIA E BALDERAS, OIC, Community Affairs Section (CAS), personnel from Sub-Station 2, CAS, and the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) participated in the simultaneous school drill in relation to an Active Shooting Incident conducted by San Jose Elementary School.
The activity focused on strengthening the preparedness and response capabilities of the school community through the proper implementation of emergency protocols, including lockdown and evacuation procedures, communication and coordination with responding authorities, movement of pupils and school personnel to designated safe areas, and proper accounting of students, teachers, and other school personnel.
The participation of the Caloocan PNP personnel provided additional support to the school community in enhancing awareness, preparedness, discipline, and appropriate response during an Active Shooting emergency.
The activity was participated in by more or less 150 individuals, including school personnel, teachers, and pupils, under the leadership of Ms. Rochle P. Delos Reyes, Principal I, together with the School Teachers and SPTA.
Participating Caloocan PNP personnel included PLT RALDEN H GUMACAL, OIC, SS2, together with PMSg Caspe, PSSg Almanza, Pat John Pabroquez, Pat Joseph Medianero, and Pat Claveria; PLT REMY BERINGUEL, C, WCPD; and CAS personnel PSSg Pat-O and Pat Tabbu.
Also supporting the activity were personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection, namely SFO3 Elizar T. De Villa, FO2 Ronel A. Sabino, FO1 Mandy F. Calleja, and FO1 Terrence Malthus P. Acebron.
The successful conduct of the drill reinforced the importance of preparedness, coordination, and calm decision-making in emergency situations, contributing to a safer and more resilient school environment.
