The school is conducting a Reading assessment to all incoming Grade 7 for the School Year 2026-2027 to test the word recogniton level of the learners. This was facilitated by the JHS English and Filipino teachers.

In addition, the PHIL-IRI PreTest will be given to all JHS learners (Grade 7-10) during the Opening
Block to identify the exact reading level of the learners.

The school will continue to promote literacy among SBNCHS learners.
