OPLAN BANDILLO | WEATHER ADVISORY NO. 38 (Southwest Monsoon / Habagat)

Santa Barbara municipal Police Station personnel under the supervision of PMAJ RAPHY V SEÑERES, OIC conducted continuous dissemination of Weather Advisory No. 38 was conducted under Oplan Bandillo to inform residents of the possible effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). at Brgy. Zone V, Santa Barbara, Iloilo. Community members were advised to remain vigilant, monitor official weather updates, and take necessary precautions against possible flooding, landslides, and other weather-related hazards. This initiative aims to ensure public awareness and preparedness for the safety and protection of all.

Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign

Personnel of Santa Barbara Municipal Police Station under the supervision of PMAJ RAPHY V SEÑERES, OIC conducted the distribution of flyers and informational materials on Republic Act No. 9262, otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) Act of 2004 at Santa Barbara Mpublic market, Brgy. Zone V, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.

The activity aimed to increase public awareness regarding the rights and protection of women and children against all forms of violence, abuse, and exploitation. Community members were provided with essential information on the provisions of the law, available legal remedies, and reporting mechanisms for VAWC-related incidents. Through this initiative, the participants were encouraged to actively support efforts in preventing violence and promoting a safe, respectful, and violence-free community.

CRIME PREVENTION AWARENESS
The Santa Barbara Municipal Police Station personnel under the supervision of PMAJ RAPHY V SEÑERES, OIC distributed crime prevention fliers at Santa Barbara public market, Brgy. one V, Santa Barbara, Iloilo. SThis initiative aims to educate and inform the public on safety measures, crime prevention strategies, and the importance of vigilance in maintaining a peaceful and secure community. Together, through awareness and cooperation, we can help prevent crime and promote public safety for everyone.
