𝗠𝗿. 𝗣𝗝 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻̃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 is 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼, having successfully completed various projects not only in the Philippines but also abroad. Driven by his commitment to preserving culture and showcasing it to the world, he partners with government agencies, including the 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗦𝗟𝗣) 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗) 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗜.

In his designs, he incorporates SLP products such as bobbin lace and embroidery crafted by the 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘆 (𝗪𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗟𝗘) from 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼.

He continues to support the association by using and promoting their products, ranging from bobbin lace for gowns to embroidered pieces and accessories.
For him, helping the people who create these crafts not only preserves tradition but also encourages innovation to meet the demands of the present generation.

Mr. Arañador also shared his talents with the program by serving as one of the judges for the Best Booth Design during the 2025 Alunsina: Kabuhayan Convention and Bazaar. Through his continued support for the program and its participants, he has become one of the driving forces behind SLP Field Office VI’s mission to uplift more lives through sustainable livelihood.

The story of WUHTLE (Women United Through Handcrafted Lace and Embroidery) traces its origins to the 1980s, inside the Western Visayas Sanitarium in Santa Barbara. It began with a simple gesture: the daughter of a patient handed a delicately embroidered handkerchief to a Belgian missionary, Sister Madeleine Dieryck, who was then working with people affected by leprosy.

What began as a lifeline for sanitarium patients has turned into a unique heritage art of this laidback town in Iloilo
