✨✨ Team LGU Santa Catalina, in coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and the Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC), together with the support of the Barangay Officials, conducted a monitoring and second evaluation of the ongoing Cash-for-Work activities under Project LAWA at BINHI in Barangay Alangilan, Santa Catalina, Negros Oriental.

The team extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Kagawad for their active participation and valuable support in ensuring the smooth and successful implementation of the activity.

πŸ“ŒπŸ“ŒFebruary 14, 2026 – On Valentine’s Day, Team LAWA at BINHI conducted its monitoring and second evaluation activity with the beneficiaries of Project LAWA at BINHI in Barangay San Miguel, Santa Catalina, Negros Oriental.

The activity aimed to ensure proper implementation, assess progress, and identify areas for improvement. Working closely with beneficiaries, the team gathered feedback and addressed initial challenges.

A total of 191 qualified indigent solo parents received financial assistance covering the period from January to December 2025, held on January 12, 2025, at the Barangay Poblacion Covered Court.

The distribution was successfully led by our dedicated social workers, headed by Ms. Eileen Marie Colasisang, Acting MSWDO, together with the MSWDO personnel, ensuring an organized and smooth implementation of the program aimed at supporting and empowering indigent solo parents in the municipality.
