Likhang Laguna proudly takes part in Vitafoods Asia 2026, held from September 2–4, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, through the Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), in partnership with the ALAFOP Federation of the Philippines, Inc.

A highlight of the event was the personal visit of Governor Sol Aragones to the Likhang Laguna showcase, highlighting Laguna’s commitment to promoting its local products and creating opportunities for MSMEs to reach global markets.

The opening day brought together global nutraceutical leaders, ingredient suppliers, and industry innovators through networking activities, expert presentations, innovation tours, and specialized seminars highlighting emerging trends in health, nutrition, wellness, and product development.

Through the collaboration of LEDIPO and with Alliance of Local Artisans, Food and Other Producers (ALAFOP) Federation of the Philippines Inc., Likhang Laguna continues to gain international visibility while opening doors for market linkages, business opportunities, and global exposure for Laguna’s MSMEs.

The Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) joined the Chartering and Launch of BNI Hinirang Chapter on August 27, 2026, at Olive’s Events Hall, Olivarez Plaza Mall, Calamba City, Laguna, bringing together business owners, leaders, and professionals from the local business community.

The event provided an avenue for networking, collaboration, and business referrals, allowing LEDIPO to strengthen connections with private-sector stakeholders and explore opportunities to support the growth and development of Laguna MSMEs.

Through continued engagement with the business community, LEDIPO remains committed to fostering stronger business networks, market linkages, and opportunities for local enterprises.

The Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) participated in the “Tambayan on Decentralization” Roadshow: Beyond NTA: Strengthening Fiscal Decentralization and Local Revenue Generation, which highlighted the role of local governments in strengthening fiscal autonomy and promoting sustainable economic development, August 26, 2026, at the Cultural Center of Laguna.

During the activity, Fatima Eleonor Villaseñor, LEDIPO Designate, discussed the programs and projects of the Provincial Government of Laguna through LEDIPO, emphasizing initiatives focused on local economic development, investment promotion, and generating opportunities for increased local economic activity.

The roadshow also provided a platform for Municipal Treasurers, LEDIPOs, BPLOs, and other stakeholders to exchange insights on fiscal decentralization, local economic development, and strategies for strengthening local revenues and LGU economic initiatives.

The Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) met with Ledy Almadin of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce New York City, USA, and Ken Borgonio of Mang Larry’s Lambanog to discuss the participation of Laguna’s lambanog in the upcoming “Inuman at Pulutan” event on October 22, 2026, at the Philippine Consulate Pavilion in New York City on August 24, 2026, via Google Meet.

The event will feature four to five Filipino spirits paired with Filipino dishes, providing a platform to promote Philippine-made products and increase their visibility in the international marketplace.

The target audience includes business networks, media, and restaurant and bar owners, creating opportunities for greater product exposure, market linkages, and potential business partnerships.

On August 24, 2026, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Laguna passed an ordinance establishing the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) as a department of the Provincial Government of Laguna, during its session at the Provincial Capitol, Santa Cruz, Laguna, with Governor Sol Aragones and Board Member Bernadette Olivares supporting the institutionalization of the office.

The passage of the ordinance marks a significant milestone in Laguna’s economic development agenda, strengthening the Province’s commitment to local economic development, investment promotion, MSME development, and sustainable economic growth.

The institutionalization of LEDIPO as a full-fledged department reinforces the Provincial Government’s efforts to create a more coordinated and strategic approach to attracting investments, supporting local enterprises, and building a stronger, more competitive, and investment-ready Laguna.

The Laguna Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) participated in the 3rd Quarter General Membership Meeting of the Alliance of Local Artisans, Food and Other Producers (ALAFOP) Federation of the Philippines, Inc. held on August 22, 2026, at the Likhang Filipino Event Halls, Pasay City.

The gathering brought together members and stakeholders for discussions on MSME development, market opportunities, and strengthening business networks. It also featured the Likhang Filipino Familiarization Tour, highlighting efforts to elevate Filipino products and connect local enterprises to wider markets.

LEDIPO’s participation underscores its continued commitment to building partnerships and creating opportunities that support the growth and competitiveness of Laguna’s MSMEs.
