Last August 28, 2026, the 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 participated in the𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 held at the New Manila Metropolitan Center.

The capacity-building activity provided an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and insights on the importance of integrating culture, heritage, arts, traditions, and local identity into local governance and development.

As culture plays a vital role in strengthening community identity and promoting sustainable tourism and development, the activity further reinforced the commitment of the Municipality of Santa Cruz, Laguna to preserve, promote, and celebrate its rich cultural heritage.

The 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 of Santa Cruz, Laguna joins the nation in celebrating the 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆, 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 that make every destination truly worth discovering.

As we celebrate 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, let us continue to #𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 by supporting our local destinations, tourism workers, entrepreneurs, artisans, and communities who keep our tourism industry alive and thriving.

Sa paggunita ng 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢, ating alalahanin ang tapang at sakripisyo ng mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa kalayaan at kinabukasan ng ating bansa. Ang kanilang mga adhikain ay patuloy nating binibigyang-buhay sa pamamagitan ng pangangalaga sa ating mga pamanang kultural, makasaysayang lugar, tradisyon, at mga lokal na yaman na bumubuo sa pagkakakilanlan ng bawat pamayanan.

Sa pamamagitan ng turismo, ipinapasa natin ang mga kuwento ng ating mga bayani at ipinagmamalaki ang mayamang kultura at kasaysayan ng 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇, 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀.

The Municipal Tourism Office, extends its sincere appreciation to the students of Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) for choosing to conduct their research on the 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.

We are pleased to welcome and support the students of LSPU–Santa Cruz Campus who are conducting their thesis research on the 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇, 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗮. Their interest in our culinary heritage is a meaningful step toward discovering and documenting the stories, traditions, and flavors that make our local food culture unique.
