Recently Concluded Activity | August 12, 2026

The Municipal Agriculture Office, through the Livestock Section, successfully conducted an Anti-Rabies Vaccination and Castration Activity at Bitaug, Zone 4. The activity promoted responsible pet ownership, rabies prevention, and humane population control, benefiting pets and their owners in the community.

Our sincere thanks to the pet owners, barangay officials, livestock personnel, and everyone who supported the successful conduct of the activity.

PAALALA PARA SA LIBRENG KAPON:
* Lalaking a*o at pusa edad 5 months pataas
*STRICT FASTING: 6-8 hours HINDI PAKANIN at HINDI PAINUMIN ng tubig ang mga alaga bago ang kapon

PAALALA PARA SA ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION:
*Alagang malusog na mga a*o at pusa edad 3 months pataas ang pwede bakunahan

PAALALA SA PAGDALA AT KALIGTASAN:
*Talian nang maayos o lagyan ng busal (muzzle) ang mga a*o.

PAGSUGOD SA SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT)

Sa dili pa ang posibleng pagsugod sa ting-ulan, opisyal nga gipahibalo sa DOST-PAGASA ang pagsugod sa Southwest Monsoon o Habagat sa tibuok Pilipinas, nga usa sa mga timailhan sa nagsingabot nga ting-ulan.

Tungod kay ang Habagat naman ang mamahimong dominant weather system, gilauman ang panagsa hangtod sa kanunay nga mga pag-ulan ug thunderstorms, ilabi na sa kasadpang bahin (western sections) sa na*od. Kini nga mga kahimtang mahimong magsenyas sa posibleng pagsugod sa ting-ulan sa mosunod nga mga adlaw.

Bisan pa niana, mahimo gihapong adunay mga adlaw o semana nga walay ulan, nga nailhan isip "monsoon breaks."

Ang pagpapakapon ay isang responsableng hakbang ng isang fur parent upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at kaayusan ng kanilang alaga.

Layunin ng programang ito na makatulong sa pagkontrol ng populasyon ng mga alagang hayop, maiwasan ang pagdami ng mga stray animals, at makatulong sa pag-iwas sa sakit na Rabies.

This means there is a high chance that El Niรฑo may develop in the coming months, bringing hotter temperatures and less rainfall. Possible effects include drought, water shortages, and impacts on agriculture and fisheries.
