We envision the Province of Laguna as the country’s leader in sports development, with innovative and sustainable grassroots program, high-standard sports facilities and a vibrant sports community that will encourage the development of God-fearing, competitive, and high caliber athletes. MISSION
Our mission is to facilitate and advocate sports development and sports excellence in the Provin
ce of Laguna through effective program development, partnership building and community involvement. OBJECTIVES / GOALS
• Promote sports development in the Province of Laguna and encourage socially desirable attitudes and values towards physical fitness among Laguneños;
• Coordinate and collaborate with national sports agencies and other organizations to implement and develop a sustainable and comprehensive grassroots development program in the province;
• Facilitate the establishment of strong local sports associations and affiliates that will provide greater access for potential athletes in participating to the sports development programs and higher level tournaments;
• Advocate for the availability of high-standard sports facilities and equipment;
• Expand its resources and capacity by building partnerships and sponsorships for its programs and activities which shall reflect the best image of the province and its athletes. FUNCTIONS
• Identify and develop athletes and teams (in-school and out-of-school youth) from Laguna who will represent the province and excel in national and international sports tournaments;
• Facilitate the implementation of sports development programs, in the province, from national entities like the Philippine Sports Commission and Little League Philippines;
• Represent the interests of all sports disciplines and athletes within the province of Laguna at the national level;
• Provide technical, logistical and financial assistance to its stakeholders and partners which include, but is not limited to, athletes, coaches, LGUs, sports associations, etc.;
• Promote and market the facilities of the New San Luis RECS Village through sponsorships and partnerships that will generate additional funds for the province; and
• Ensure the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the 19-hectare New San Luis RECS Village in Brgy.
