In the span of two months, the SSLG Council has taken the lead in improving Pedro. Through Hazard Mapping, Brigada Eskwela, Flag Ceremonies, and MYDC activities, the school has gradually become a better and safer placeโ€”slowly but surely.

To all the officers, members, advisers, teachers, personnel, partners, and volunteersโ€”none of this would have been possible without you. Thank you for your grit, dedication, unwavering support, and love for our school. Because of you, we have empowered our learners and made these achievements possible.

Today, June 12, 2026, we mark the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence. The freedom we enjoy today was not easily attained. It was earned through the bravery, hard work, and great sacrifices of our heroes, who risked everything so that we could live in a nation that is free and proud. Their courage continues to light our way, reminding us that freedom is a precious gift that we must always value, protect, and pass on to future generations.

Let us celebrate this special day with genuine pride and grateful hearts. May we remember and honor our ancestors who stood up for what was right, fought for our rights, and gave us the opportunity to live freely. More than just a celebration, let this day inspire us to do our part. Let us strive to be better citizens, respect our laws, and care for our country. May we keep the spirit of unity and bayanihan alive, for when Filipinos stand together, we become stronger and more capable of overcoming any challenge.

Freedom means more than independence. "CLASSROOM WALLS SHALL REMAIN BARE"

Under the Brigada Eskwela guidelines on the Maintenance of Clean Schools, classroom walls should be free from unnecessary posters, decorations, tarpaulins, and commercial signages. Keeping classrooms clean, organized, and free from unused materials helps provide a safe, distraction-free, and learner-friendly environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
