BENTENG BIGAS

The "P20 Rice Program," officially called "Benteng Bigas, Meron Na!," is a Philippine government initiative to provide rice at a subsidized price of P20 per kilo. Launched by the Department of Agriculture (DA), it initially targeted vulnerable groups like senior citizens, PWDs, solo parents, and indigents, and has since expanded to include minimum wage earners, farmers, and members of the DSWD's Walang Gutom program. The subsidized rice is sold at KADIWA centers and partner local government units (LGUs), with eligible households able to purchase a monthly limit (up to 30 kilos for many beneficiaries)

Layunin ng ALS ay matulungan ang mga Out Of School Youths, manggagawa , may kapansanan, nakalaya sa bilangguan , dating rebelde ng gobyerno, mga katutubo, at iba pang tao na hindi nakapasok sa paaralan o hindi nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral ngunit nagnanais matuto at magpatuloy sa pag-aaral.
