| The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Laguna conducted its 3rd Quarter CY 2026 Provincial Team Conference (PTC) at the DILG Laguna Provincial Office. The first part of the activity featured discussions on BSKE-related reminders for DILG Field Officers, followed by the presentation of updates, and reminders, from different sections and units of the Provincial Office. Pressing operational issues and concerns were also addressed throughout the discussions.

Recognizing that a productive team requires balance, the PTC seamlessly transitioned from strategic alignment to physical well-being in the afternoon. Personnel shifted gears to join the DILG Laguna Wellness Program, which introduced pickleball as an engaging avenue for health, stress relief, and team cohesion.

Certified pickleball coach Mr. Ricarte J. Castillo led an orientation covering basic rules, equipment, court positioning, and foundational skills, followed by practical demonstrations. Personnel then took to the court for active gameplay, applying their new skills while strengthening camaraderie.

Through meaningful discussions and wellness activities, DILG Laguna continues to foster a healthier, more cohesive, and productive workplace, contributing to the delivery of more efficient and effective public service.

| As part of its continuing efforts to promote effective and responsive governance, the Capacity Development Agenda Formulation Workshop proceeded with its succeeding sessions to further strengthen the institutional capacity of the Provincial Government of Laguna and ensure more effective delivery of public services.

The workshop aims to strengthen the capacity of the Provincial Government of Laguna through the development of a comprehensive and evidence-based Capacity Development Agenda, anchored on identified capacity needs, governance performance, and the development priorities of the province.

Through this initiative, capacity development planning and the implementation of appropriate interventions are further strengthened to enhance public service delivery and advance good governance in the Province of Laguna.

| Isinagawa ng DILG Laguna ang Capacity Development activity para sa Barangay Saray, Pakil, na nakatuon sa pagpapalakas ng kanilang kakayahan sa local legislation.

Bahagi ito ng Capacity Development (CapDev) Phase ng Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), na naglalayong tugunan ang mga natukoy na kakayahan at pangangailangan ng target barangays upang mapahusay ang kanilang pamamahala at paghahatid ng serbisyo.

Sa pamamagitan nito, pinalalakas ang kakayahan ng barangay sa pagbuo at pagpapatupad ng mga ordinansa at resolusyon na tumutugon sa pangangailangan ng kanilang komunidad.

DILG LAGUNA, GARDENIA INILUNSAD ANG PLASTIC COLLECTION DRIVE SA BAYAN NG LUISIANA, LAGUNA

Pormal na inilunsad sa Bayan ng Luisiana, Laguna ang Gardenia Plastic Waste Collection Drive ngayong araw, Agosto 27, 2026. Dinaluhan ang programa ng DILG Laguna, Luisiana Municipal Environment and Natural Resource Office (MENRO), pinuno ng Liga ng mga Barangay, at mga mamamayan ng Bayan ng Luisiana.

Isa ang Bayan ng Luisiana sa mga bagong katuwang na pamahalaang lokal ng Gardenia sa pagpapalawig ng Plastic Waste Collection Drive. Ang programang ito ng Gardenia ay isa sa mga epektibong paraan upang mas mahikayat ang mga bayan na paigtingin ang kanilang solid waste management, lalo't higit sa plastic waste.

Ang mga nakolektang plastic mula sa Bayan ng Luisiana ay umabot sa 1,115 kgs na may kapalit na 223 na tinapay. Ang mga tinapay na ito ay ipinamahagi sa mga indibidwal na personal na nagdadala ng kanilang plastic waste sa MENRO ng Bayan ng Luisiana.
