OJT- Deped Student Test Analysis and Record System - OMR (Optical Mark Recognition)
This refers to an On-the-Job Training (OJT) project or activity focused on supporting the Department of Education (DepEd) in managing student assessment data through an automated test analysis and record system that uses Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology.
The system is designed to scan and read students’ answer sheets, automatically capture marked responses, and convert them into digital data. It helps in faster checking of exams, accurate computation of scores, and systematic recording of student performance. Through this system, teachers and administrators can easily generate test results, item analysis, and performance reports, which support data-driven decision-making and improve the efficiency of assessment processes in schools.
As part of OJT, students may be involved in system development, data encoding, testing, documentation, or technical support, gaining hands-on experience in educational technology, data processing, and real-world school operations.
