Feedback from the session was gathered to ensure the system meets operational needs. This demonstration marked a crucial step toward final deployment, ensuring readiness and functionality for the Gov Hotline’s integration with hospital response operations.

The Laguna Management Information Systems Office - System Development Unit engaged in a fruitful discussion with Department of Health - Region 4A IT Team and Medical Informatics Team for the integration of an online dashboard to iHOMIS+

The Integrated Hospital Operation Management Information System Plus (iHomis+) is an Electronic Medical Record System (EMRS) successor to iHOMIS. It aims to digitalize the processes and operation of hospital by providing convenient access, centralized data recording and record-keeping, automatic generation of reports and tracking of hospital resources.

The online dashboard aims to provide the governor real-time access to statistical data of each district hospital such as current bed occupancy, maximum bed capacity, inventory levels, service availability and many more. This will help decision making in the executive level on which aspect of healthcare to prioritize.

The meeting ended with the positive note and a prototype will be developed by MIS developers as soon as possible. Deployment will be guided by Medical Informatics Team

On September 25, 2025, at the Laguna Provincial Jail, Ms. Addie Yvonne Albong (ICO – Administrative Officer PG I) presented the Project Proposal for the Integrated Jail Information and Management System (IJIMS) to the System Development and Research Team. Following this, the System Development and Research Team conducted the Presentation of the PDLMS before Provincial Warden Miguel Alejandro Ravena and Ms. Albong. The activity focused on aligning proposed innovations with operational needs, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and enhanced information management within the provincial jail system.

On September 23, 2025, the MISO Tabulation Team, together with Direk Egay, conducted the Tabulation Preparation and Presentation at the Laguna Tourism and Culture Arts Trade Office. The activity aimed to ensure accuracy, transparency, and readiness in the tabulation process, aligning with the standards of the office. The session also served as an avenue for collaboration and validation of procedures to guarantee smooth implementation during official events.

The session included updates on current initiatives, resource allocation planning, and alignment of upcoming tasks with strategic objectives, ensuring that development workflows, research activities, and implementation timelines remain synchronized for optimal efficiency and quality output.

Earlier today, September 23, 2025, at 10:30 AM, the System Development and Research Team conducted the LSPU Student’s System Evaluation with test cases at the MISO Training Lab, working closely with LSPU students to systematically assess the system’s functionality, reliability, and user experience. Each test case included defined input parameters, expected outputs, and pass/fail criteria, enabling precise defect identification and documentation of system behavior under normal and exceptional conditions. This approach ensured that both functional integrity and operational reliability were quantitatively measured, with direct feedback from LSPU students incorporated into the technical review cycle for iterative improvement.

The MISO System Development Team conducted a general meeting with the PESO staff at the MISO Training Laboratory. The session covered updates and discussions on the Provincial Legal Employment Information System (PLEIS) and the Local Miscellaneous Revenue Collection System (LOMRCS). Key functions, system improvements, and user concerns were addressed to ensure better implementation. The meeting also provided an avenue for collaboration and clarification of processes.

On September 12, 2025, the System Development Team will hosted the PDL Management System User Training and System Evaluation for New Users, bringing together LPJ staff, the MISO System Development Team, and the Training Unit to equip newly onboarded personnel with the skills to effectively operate the PDL Management System. The session will feature hands-on instruction, system demonstrations, and troubleshooting guidance, while also conducting a formal evaluation to gather user feedback, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the system meets operational needs—reinforcing LPJ’s and MISO’s shared commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in managing Persons Deprived of Liberty records.
