The Model SK Network celebrates a significant milestone as TESDA, under the leadership of Sec. Jose Francisco "Kiko" B. Benitez, officially revokes the mandatory NC III Bookkeeping requirement for SK Treasurers. This development reflects a shared commitment to addressing the needs of youth leaders and ensuring policies that are both inclusive and practical.
This achievement stems from the Model SK Network's resolution, filed last year by Chairperson Nestie Villaviray and approved by the National Anti-Poverty Commission Youth and Students Sector. The resolution called for the suspension of the NC III requirement and the creation of a customized bookkeeping course tailored for SK Treasurers. It was made possible through the invaluable collaboration and support of the National Youth Commission and other key stakeholders, who worked hand-in-hand to bring this initiative to fruition.
