As directed by Municipal Mayor Richard M. Plaza, the Municipal Engineering Office immediately conducted a Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) of public school buildings following the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that occurred at 7:37 AM.

The assessment aims to determine the structural condition of school facilities and identify any damage that may affect the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel.

Inspection activities will continue tomorrow to ensure that all public schools are thoroughly assessed and appropriate recommendations are provided.

Nagpahigayon ang Office sa Municipal Engineering og punchlisting sa ongoing nga Construction of Sta. Josefa Municipal Water System – Cluster I nga karon naa na sa 96% completion.

Ang maong punchlisting gihimo aron ma-inspect ug masiguro nga tarong ug kompleto ang tanan nga nahimong trabaho sa proyekto before kini i-finalize ug i-turnover. Gi-check usab ang mga pipelines, fittings, structures, ug uban pang parte sa water system aron maseguro nga maayo ang dagan sa serbisyo sa tubig para sa mga benepisyaryong barangay.

Padayon usab nga ginabuhat ang leak testing ug ubang final checking aron masiguro nga lig-on, safe, ug reliable ang water system sa dili pa kini fully operational.

Dako kaayo kini nga tabang sa atong komunidad tungod kay mas mapalambo pa ang access sa limpyo ug sakto nga supply sa tubig alang sa mga residente sa Sta. Josefa.

The activity was attended by the Municipal Engineering Office, headed by Engr. Juvylyn V. Bitang, together with Engr. Zeraul Jun D. Luarez, and Gerald G. Punzalan, GIS Mapper from the Municipal Planning and Development Office.

UPDATE l Sta. Josefa Municipal Water System Project

Kami nagpahibalo nga ang maong leak sa Barangay Sayon naayo na pinaagi sa panagtinabangay sa LGU gipangulohan sa Municipal Engineering Office, uban ang aktibong suporta ni Mayor Richard M. Plaza ug sa mga contractor sa Cluster I ug II. Nahiuswag ug nahimong malampuson ang maong pag-ayo.

Dugang impormasyon ang proyekto ongoing pa ug ang opisina naga padayon pa sa pagtesting aron sa pag-abot sa turn-over malimit na nato ang mga problema.

Target nga maablihan ang suplay sa tubig ugma, Abril 11, 2026.
