DILG Kicks Off NEO Plus Program, Guiding Newly Elected Officials on First 100 Days Priorities.
SANTA JOSEFA, AGUSAN DEL SUR – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), in partnership with the Local Government Academy (LGA), officially launched its NEO (Newly Elected Officials) Plus Program with an Executive Briefing designed to equip newly elected officials with the tools to navigate their leadership transition and establish key priorities for their crucial First 100 Days in office.
The briefing was led by Elva Theresa D. Velmonte, LGOO VII and Outcome Manager of the DILG Provincial Office, who provided comprehensive guidance to the new leaders and also providing upcoming capdev schedules related to the NEO Plus Program
The presentation of Hon. Mayor Richard M. Plaza's Five-Point Executive Thrust, outlining the administration's core priorities was also highlighted during the event.
Mayor Plaza's Five-Point Executive Thrust:
* Establishment of Production Farm
* Establishment of Farmers and Traders Cooperative
* Rehabilitation and Establishment of New Public Cemetery
* Rehabilitation of Block Tienda
* Public-Private Partnership for the Operation of Super Health Center
Hon. Vice Mayor Symond O. Caguiat expressed strong support for the Mayor's executive priorities, committing to provide necessary legislative backing alongside the Sangguniang Bayan Members.
Adding to the comprehensive overview, the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), under the leadership of MPDC Designate Albert D. Sanchez, presented a detailed summary of the current state of local governance to the plenary.
The event concluded with Hon. Sangguniang Bayan Member Carpin M. Plaza, Jr. delivering the closing remarks, emphasizing the critical importance of collective efforts between municipal officials and employees to achieve the shared goals of providing excellent services to their constituents.- MIO
