ORIENTATION ON SCHOOL PROCESSES THROUGH THE GABAY SYSTEM

SMWCES faculty and staff actively participated in an orientation on school processes and procedures through the GABAY System, facilitated by Mr. Leinster C. Denna of Flora National High School on June 4, 2026. The session provided a comprehensive overview of the system's features, functions, and guidelines, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively navigate and implement various school processes.

This Grading And Basic Academic sYstem (GABAY) is an innovative school management platform developed by Sir Leinster C. Denna, a Filipino educator with firsthand experience in school administration. The platform is strategically designed to optimize administrative efficiency, significantly reducing routine operational burdens while maintaining strict data integrity and compliance with institutional mandates.

The name GABAY translates to "guide" in Filipino, representing a steadfast commitment to supporting educational institutions. By automating the core pillars of school management, the platform empowers administrators to handle enrolment, attendance, grading, and official Department of Education (DepED) documentation with absolute accuracy, transparency, and accountability.

Through insightful discussions and practical demonstrations, participants gained a deeper understanding of how the GABAY System supports the school's commitment to excellence, transparency, and continuous.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Denna for sharing his expertise and guiding our personnel in maximizing the benefits of the GABAY System. This initiative reflects our ongoing dedication to embracing innovative solutions that enhance school management and strengthen service delivery for our learners, parents, and stakeholders.

📢 Monitoring Visit for School Opening SY 2026-2027

Yesterday, June 9, 2026, our school was visited by representatives from the Schools Division Office (SDO) — Ma’am Jane Ramos, EPS in Mathematics, and Ma’am Arlyn Ventura, Senior Education Program Specialist-SMME.

They conducted actual head counts in every classroom to monitor enrollment and attendance. They also reminded all learners to drink water regularly, stay hydrated, and practice good habits to keep healthy and free from sickness. Aside from that, they also asked what are the problems we are encountering at the moment with regards to the needs of learners and school.

📚✨A School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session was conducted successfully on June 5, 2026, focusing on effective lesson planning using the ILAW Format, preparation of class programs, and planning of opening block activities for the incoming school year. Resource persons were Mrs. Eden P. Martinez, School Principal and Mrs. Jennifer V. Dumaguing, Master Teacher II. The session provided teachers with practical strategies and collaborative opportunities to strengthen instructional planning and ensure a smooth, organized, and engaging start of classes. Together, we continue to foster excellence in teaching and learning for the benefit of every learner.

𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 “𝘼𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙨 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚” 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠 𝙀𝙨𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙖 2026

WCPD PNCO’s of Santa Marcela MPS led by PSMS Jenilyn B Gaboy conducted the installation and display of the “Aleng Pulis Everywhere” tarpaulin in our school. The advocacy materials were posted in strategic locations within the school premises to raise awareness on the services of the PNP Women and Children Protection Desk. The tarpaulin contained office’s contact details and QR code to facilitate access to assistance and referral services for women and children. This activity supports the implementation of Oplan Balik Eskwela 2026 and promotes a safe and child-friendly learning environment.

The new school year has officially begun! 🎒✨

Kindergarten to Grade 6 learners, together with the teaching staff, PNP personnel, parents, and guardians, gathered for our opening flag ceremony to kickstart SY 2026-2027. 🏫🇵🇭

We started the day with a prayer, flag ceremony, followed with energizing exercise led by our wonderful teachers and pupil leaders, setting a positive and active mood for everyone. 💪

Our School Head, Doc. Eden Martinez, warmly welcomed all attendees and shared important announcements for this opening.

Special talk was also given by PMS Jenilyn B. Gaboy, who discussed a brief summary about bullying prevention and the importance of a safe and respectful school environment for all learners. 🛡️📚

Here’s to a successful, safe, and fruitful learning journey for all! 🙌
