The Judge Celestino Guerrero Memorial Hospital began its journey in 2000 as a modest clinic named Klinika ni Dok, situated behind the Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur town plaza. The clinic, initially staffed by just Dok Mila and Manang Luz, saw only a handful of patients each day. However, the clinic quickly gained popularity, with patients arriving in increasing numbers, often standing while they waited f

or their turn due to limited space. Over the years, the clinic expanded both in size and staff, leading to the establishment of the Judge Celestino Guerrero Memorial Hospital on April 27, 2009, a date chosen to honor the 88th birthday of Judge Celestino Guerrero. This expansion was a direct response to the growing demand for medical services from the community. In gratitude for the community's support, the hospital has committed to providing free medical services to underprivileged individuals annually. They conduct medical and minor surgical missions on the hospital's foundation day and on October 20th, in memory of Dok Mila's mother. Today, the hospital stands as a three-story building on Dakota St., Poblacion Sur, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur, with 21 staff members under the leadership of Dr. Mila Guerrero.

17 Years of JCGMH: A Mission of Service!🏥✨

​Last April 27, we celebrated our 17th Anniversary with a highly successful Medical Mission. A huge "salute" to the 150 boys who officially conquered their "Baptism of Fire" during our Operation Tuli!👦🩹

Service, Scenery, and Surmounting Challenges in Sigay🩺⛰️

​I am deeply fulfilled that Judge Celestino Guerrero Memorial Hospital stood alongside dedicated stakeholders like the Southern Ilocos Sur Medical Society, JE Cuyugan Medical Clinic and Diagnostic Center, Land Cruiser Club of the Philippines, and the Philippine Dental Association Ilocos Sur Chapter for the Medical-Surgical-Dental Mission in Sigay last March 24.🤝🏥

​This town holds a special place in my heart, especially with my nephew, Hon. Carlo Crisanto Pena Peredo, now serving his third term as Mayor.🏛️💙

​A special "Thank You" goes out to my dedicated hospital staff, Elena Tubon, Ella Aglipay, Nicole Cellona, Mhelmor Eleccion, Ronalyn Manaog, and Melodzkie Degala Quino who volunteered their time and expertise to assist in this mission. Your hard work and commitment to our patients made all the difference!👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️✨

​Beyond the mission, we took a breathtaking side trip to Aw-asen Falls—the tallest in Ilocos Sur. Navigating the rugged, rocky upland terrain of Sigay and trekking the trail to the falls was a true test of physical endurance, but the view was worth every step!💦

​My sincere gratitude to Dr. Cj Laconsay and Dr. Deka Custodio for coordinating this collaboration.

Special thanks also to Patrolman Jhonel Anneb and Patrolman Danilo Laconsay Esteban for ensuring our safety as we conquered the trail.👣🛡️

Plaza!🏢✨I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with the vibrant women of our community about wellness and health leadership.🩺👩‍⚕️Between the insightful questions and those interjected funny moments, the energy was truly contagious!😂🎤💬
