In coordination with the Municipal Government of Sta. Maria, and in strict compliance with DepEd and DILG guidelines, Heracleo Casco Memorial National High School successfully conducted the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill today, September 3, 2026, at 9:00 AM, with participating unit and partner agencies - DILG, Sta. Maria MPS (PNP), Sta. Maria Municipal Fire Station (BFP), 1st DOcc PMFC, MDRRMO, School Administration, Incident Management Team, and Teachers.

The active threat response exercise was executed with multi-agency coordination to strengthen campus emergency preparedness and ensure a safe, secure, and resilient learning environment for students and faculty.

Highlights include the Drill Initiation & Alarm, Inner Ring Defense where classrooms executed lockdown procedures, physical door barricading, light shut-offs, and silent concealment, Orderly Evacuation & Responder Compliance Posture where learners and staff safely evacuated along designated pathways, practicing proper compliance posture (hands raised, visible, and empty) upon encountering law enforcement officers, and Post-Drill Recovery & Psychosocial Support.
