|First Coordination Meeting for CY 2026 for Project LAWA at BINHI|

Today, the First Coordination Meeting for CY 2026 of the DSWD Project LAWA at BINHI was successfully conducted by the DSWD Focal Person Mr. Luigi C. Garzon, held at the Child Development Center of the Municipality of Sta. Maria.

The activity was attended by members of the Technical Working Group from MSWDO, MAGRO, MPDO, MIO, MDRRMO, and MENRO, highlighting strong inter-office collaboration. The meeting focused on aligning plans, clarifying roles, and strengthening coordination to ensure the effective and timely implementation of the program.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of all stakeholders toward building resilient and sustainable communities through unified action.

March 24, 2026 | Women’s Month Culmination 💜

The Municipality of Sta. Maria, through the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD), successfully celebrated the National Women’s Month Culmination with the active participation of all 22 barangays.

The event highlighted the recognition of outstanding women from various sectors—barangays, PWD, Solo Parents, LGU employees, and CDW retirees—honoring their invaluable contributions to the community.

Adding energy and excitement to the celebration was the Retro Dance Contest, with the following winners:
🏆 Champion – Brgy. San Agustin
🥇 1st Prize – Brgy. Poblacion
🥈 2nd Prize – Brgy. Cadaatan

what a delightful day it was! The Moving-Up Ceremony at the Cluster V-B Child Development Centers turned out to be a heartwarming celebration of our little ones reaching their first big milestone. With their families cheering them on, our children stood tall as they proudly completed their daycare journey — that first wobbly step toward a bright and promising future.

This lovely occasion wouldn’t have been possible without the steadfast support of our devoted leaders. A special round of applause goes to our Municipal Officials, especially Hon. Claude Benjamin II D. Bautista, whose unwavering commitment to our children’s well-being warms our hearts.

We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Atty. Romelyn B. Magallanes, RSW, MDMG, who showered both completers and their proud parents with warm congratulations and words of encouragement.

Our gratitude doesn’t end there! We owe much to our Barangay Officials for their invaluable support: Brgy. Tanglad, led by the ever-supportive Punong Barangay Hon. Romulo Vistal ,Brgy.
