The 8th Civil-Military Operations (Dangpanan) Battalion proudly supports the RMN Networks' Dugtong-Buhay Blood Donation Project 2026 on August 27, 2026, at Robinsons North Tacloban.

​In celebration of the 74th Anniversary of RMN Networks, Inc., in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross and various stakeholders, this initiative aims to save lives and foster community unity through voluntary blood donation.

Together, let us continue to serve, save lives, and strengthen our community commitment.

The 8th Civil-Military Operations (Dangpanan) Battalion joined hands with partner agencies in an awareness symposium held at the PGO Conference Hall, Borongan City, Eastern Samar on August 25, 2026.

The activity focused on raising awareness among participants on the prevention of illegal drug use, juvenile delinquency, school security, prevention of Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) recruitment, and the importance of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Program.

The symposium was spearheaded by the Provincial Peace and Order Council with DEPED's Schools Division of Eastern Samar, in collaboration with the Provincial Prosecutors Office, Army's 8th Infantry Division, Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM), the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and Uswag Sinirangang Bisayas of our friends rescued former rebels.

Through the active participation of the different agencies and stakeholders, the activity strengthened the collective efforts to protect the youth, promote a safe learning environment, prevent recruitment into terrorist group and violent extremism, and encourage responsible citizenship and patriotism.

The 8th Civil-Military Operations (Dangpanan) Battalion, Philippine Army, partnered with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) leaders of Barangay 107, Sta. Elena, Tacloban City, led by Hon. Ariane Mae C. Condeza, SK Chairperson, with the support of Hon. Rosa Q. Estrella, Barangay Chairperson, and the Tacloban City Police Office, in the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, held on August 15–16, 2026.

Carrying the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations: ! KinabukasanNatin!”, the two-day youth activity brought together young people in an engaging program designed to promote camaraderie, leadership, awareness, teamwork, and active participation in community affairs.

The participants engaged in various youth-oriented activities, including anti-drug and anti-terrorism awareness discussions, first aid and knot-tying activities, team-building games, and other interactive engagements aimed at enhancing their knowledge, skills, teamwork, and resilience.

The 8th CMO Battalion recognizes the youth as valuable partners in nation-building. Through sustained engagement with SK leaders and other stakeholders, the Battalion continues to support initiatives that empower young people to become responsible, informed, resilient, and active members of their communities.

Teodoro: In this situation, the standard is simple: who not only opposes AO (Administrative Order) 29, but also refuses to recognize it-both elements being necessary, especially in light of our recent filing of nautical charts of Bajo de Masinloc and Panatag.
AO 29, signed by the late former president Benigno Aquino III in 2012, officially names maritime areas on the western side of the Philippine archipelago as the West Philippine Sea (WPS).
Teodoro earlier said all public officials, especially those elected into office, are sworn to uphold the Constitution and laws of the country.
