Kalinisan Day and BARCO Activity
The Barangay Officials and personnel of Barangay Quezon, Santa, Ilocos Sur actively participated in the Kalinisan Day and Barangay Road Clearing Operations (BARCO), promoting cleanliness, orderliness, and safe, accessible roads for all residents.
Through the collective efforts of our barangay officials and personnel, we continue to uphold a clean, safe, and well-maintained community. Bayanihan at serbisyo para sa mas maunlad na Barangay Quezon!

The regular meeting was held today to deliberate on significant matters and concerns affecting the community. The agenda included the promotion of the spirit of bayanihan in relation to the seawall intervention; the proper cutting of trees obstructing the road to facilitate the efficient transport of materials to the seawall; the conduct of night patrols by the Barangay Tanods to help maintain peace and order; and the preparation of the Annual Budget for Calendar Year 2027.

The meeting reflects the continuous commitment of the barangay officials and concerned personnel to address community concerns through cooperation, proper planning, and collective action.

071826, Kudos to the hardworking team who came out for today's kalinisan day.
Sadly it's hard to ignore the HABITUAL ABSENCE of specific BARANGAY KAGAWAD who continues to neglect his duties. From ignoring his schedule as OFFICER of the DAY to repeatedly missing barangay SESSIONS and community clean up and other related activities at the barangay level.
This kind of NEGLECT is CONDUCT UNBECOMING of a PUBLIC SERVANT and undermines the HARDWORK of barangay officials who actually show-up their responsibilities seriously.
His continuous absence sets a TOXIC precedent and serves as a BAD INFLUENCE for those who are trying their best to serve the community.

Today’s session covered important updates and discussions for the continuous improvement of our barangay. Topics included the current status and functionality of CCTV systems and streetlights, ongoing projects, and the accomplishments report of every employee.

We also emphasized the active role of barangay officials and appointees in community planting initiatives, as well as the importance of full cooperation and coordination to ensure that the needs of our community are properly met.

Additional matters discussed were the patrolling efforts of our barangay tanods, monitoring of new faces entering the barangay for safety purposes, proper use of service motorcycles and tribikes, and the review of existing resolutions and ordinances.

Together, through unity and vigilance, we strengthen a safer and more progressive community.

050226-Just concluded our barangay road clearing operations, specifically pruning thick branches that were encroaching on the road and obstructing the view of motorists. As a usual practice, the servant leader is still right then and there on the ground to lead this weekend activity not just giving instructions but personally spearheading the work to ensure our streets remain safe and clean for everyone. What makes this truly inspiring is seeing the same dedicated faces😆showing up time and effort.
