The Environmental Management Bureau Region VII (EMB-7) continues to closely monitor local ambient air quality to evaluate the presence, extent, and potential health impacts of the reported haze across the region.

Classification: ACUTELY UNHEALTHY 🟣

Health Impact: People SHOULD limit outdoor exertion. People with heart or respiratory diseases such as asthma, should stay indoors and rest as much as possible. Unnecessary trips should be postponed. Motor vehicle use may be restricted. Industrial activities may be curtailed.

The public is encouraged to stay informed and regularly check the latest official updates and air quality advisories from EMB Region VII.

In celebration of the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, The Santander Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office held a 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 and 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 last July 22, 2026, at the SB Session Hall, Poblacion, Santander, Cebu. It was participated by various Elementary and Secondary Schools showcasing their artistic talents, sharp intellect, and strong commitment to disaster preparedness and resilience.

Through powerful visual art and impressive displays of knowledge, our young student-leaders demonstrated that building a safer, more adaptive community starts with an empowered youth! 🎨🧠
