LEADVOLUTION: Training of Trainers

Isang makabuluhang araw ng pagkatuto, pagbabahagi, at pagpapalakas ng kakayahan ng ating mga kabataan sa pamamagitan ng Kabataang Baluarte.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat kay Maโ€™am Johanna Mercy C. Gabriel, ating Resource Speaker, kasama sina Arjay Siminig, John Mark Limbona, Norilyn Bucasas, Selwyn Dela Cruz, at Icy Castillo ng Santiago City Teen Facilitators, sa pagbabahagi ng kanilang kaalaman, oras, at karanasan upang maging mas makabuluhan ang training na ito.

Maraming salamat din kay Jhon Mark Villanezo, SK Chairperson, sa pangunguna at pakikiisa sa training kasama ang kanyang mga kapwa SK.

Lubos din ang aming pasasalamat kay Bishop Philip Paul Leal at sa Baluarte Ward ng The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sa pagpapagamit ng Cultural Hall bilang venue ng makabuluhang aktibidad na ito.

Patuloy nating suportahan at bigyang-lakas ang ating mga kabataan upang sila ay maging responsable, aktibo, at handang mga lider ng kinabukasan.

The celebration raises awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing young people worldwide and celebrates their role as essential partners in achieving sustainable development.

๐Ÿ“š SEMINAR-ORIENTATION AND CAPABILITY BUILDING ON RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD AND FAMILY PLANNING | CY 2026

The Office of Population Development Office , under the leadership and support of City Mayor Atty. Sheena Tan successfully conducted the Seminar-Orientation and Capability Building for Barangay Population Workers (BPWs) and Barangay Secretaries on Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning (RPFP), CY 2026 on August 18, 2026, at the BOSS Function Hall.

The activity aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and capacity of our Barangay Population Workers (BPWs) and Barangay Secretaries in supporting and promoting Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning programs in their respective communities.

๐ŸŽค Mamerto Gabriel., Assistant City Population Development Officer, discussed Responsible Parenthood, emphasizing the importance of shared responsibility, informed decision-making, and building healthy and resilient families.

๐ŸŽค Sweet Aubrey dela Cruz, RPFP Focal Person, discussed Family Planning, providing participants with essential information on family planning methods, benefits, and proper information and referral services.

๐ŸŽค Dan Louie Velasco Lpt POPDEV Focal Person, discussed the Roles and Responsibilities of BPWs and Barangay Secretaries in RPFP Implementation, including the proper **updating of BPW Monitoring Reports to strengthen program monitoring and reporting.

๐ŸŒŸ The activity was also graced by Doc Carlo De Luna, City Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Population and Family Relations, who shared an inspirational message and expressed his full support for the continued implementation of Responsible Parenthood, Family Planning, and other population and development programs in Santiago City.

The Office of Population Development extends it's sincere appreciation to City Mayor Atty. Sheena P. Tan, CPA, for her continued support and commitment to programs that promote healthy families, responsible parenthood, and the well-being of every Santiagueรฑo.

Santiago City strengthened family planning through school- and community-based teen centers supported by trained peer facilitators, integrating adolescent health into its KAISAKA (โ€œkaisa kaโ€) Development Strategies. The city institutionalized its Information Service Delivery Network and launched community-based programs engaging adolescents and parents.

Santiago is now re-engaged under The Challenge Initiative - The Philippines (TCI) 20.30.

Naga City, with the support of The Challenge Initiative - The Philippines (TCI), scaled up family planning and adolescent health efforts from a handful of pilot barangays to all 27 barangays. The city established an Integrated Service Delivery Network and created teen hubs in schools and communities.

Naga is now re-engaged under TCI 20.30.
