The countdown has come to an end, and the celebration has officially begun!

The 2nd Cacao Festival of the Province of Isabela is now underway, bringing together partners, stakeholders, cacao farmers, processors, and industry champions to celebrate the growing potential of Isabela’s cacao industry.

The opening program featured the recognition of the members of the Isabela Provincial Cacao Industry Development Council, highlighting the importance of collaboration and collective action in advancing the province’s cacao industry.

The activity featured the welcome remarks of Prof. Dr. Boyet L. Batang, ISU President, followed by the inspirational message of Hon. Rodolfo “Rodito” T. Albano III, Governor of Isabela, delivered by Mr. Sergio T. Galamgam, Provincial Agriculturist of the Provincial Government of Isabela–Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (PGI–OPA).

Meanwhile, DTI Regional Director Ma. Sofia G. Narag, CESO V expressed her strong support for the activity through a message delivered by DTI Isabela Acting Provincial Director Atty. Cyrus I. Restauro.

A message of support from Ms. Rose Mary G. Aquino, PhD, Regional Executive Director of DA Region 2, was likewise delivered by Engr. Rolando D. Pedro of the DA–Cagayan Valley Research Center (DA–CVRC).

As the celebration continues, partners and stakeholders remain committed to strengthening collaboration, creating opportunities, and cultivating a more vibrant and sustainable cacao industry in Isabela.

Visitors can explore and support products from participating exhibitors, including:
