CONDUCT OF THE NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL
On September 3, 2026, PMAJ HAROLD F AGDAMAG, Acting Chief of Police of Sto. Niño Police Station, Cagayan Police Provincial Office, conducted a series of lectures and awareness campaigns at Sto. Niño National High School covering Anti-Bullying and Cyberbullying, Gender-Based Violence Advocacy, Anti-Illegal Drugs, Anti-Terrorism, and other Crime Prevention Campaigns.
The activity also featured a simultaneous active-shooter response exercise, aimed at enhancing the preparedness and response capabilities of school personnel and stakeholders in the event of an emergency or security threat.
The drill was conducted through the collaborative efforts of Sto. Niño Police Station, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Rural Health Unit (RHU), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), 202nd Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), and the teachers and staff of Sto. Niño National High School.
Through this joint initiative, the participating agencies and school community strengthened coordination, heightened awareness, and promoted a culture of preparedness to ensure the safety and security of learners, teaching personnel, and other school stakeholders.
