LOOK | Launching of the Negosyo Center San Gabriel, La Union
The Department of Trade and Industry โ La Union Provincial Office, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of San Gabriel, successfully conducted the Launching and Ceremonial Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for Negosyo Center San Gabriel, marking another significant milestone in bringing business development services closer to local entrepreneurs and MSMEs in the municipality.
The activity highlighted the shared commitment of Victoria A. Ordoรฑo, Acting Provincial Director of DTI La Union; Merlie D. Membrebe, Regional Director of DTI Region 1; and Hon. Lany B. Carbonell, Municipal Mayor of San Gabriel, to strengthen the partnership between DTI and the LGU in providing accessible, responsive, and relevant services to entrepreneurs and MSMEs.
The activity was further enriched by the inspirational message delivered by Mr. Denver B. Badua, representative from the Office of the Governor, Provincial Government of La Union, who emphasized the importance of supporting entrepreneurship, empowering local communities, and creating opportunities that contribute to inclusive economic growth.
Echoing the voice of the local business community, Divina Marie Serrano, President of the Market Vendors Association, shared the Community Response, expressing the hopes and appreciation of local entrepreneurs for the establishment of the Negosyo Center in San Gabriel.
The ceremonial signing of the MOA was followed by the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, led by Hon. Francisco Paolo Ortega, Representative of the 1st District of La Union, together with Board Member Aaron Pinzon, Board Member Gerard Ostrea, representatives from the LGU of San Gabriel, and DTI Region 1, officially marking the opening of Negosyo Center San Gabriel as a venue for opportunity, learning, business assistance, and growth for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs.
The establishment of Negosyo Center San Gabriel is a testament to the strong partnership and collective commitment of the national and local government, stakeholders, and the business community in fostering entrepreneurship and strengthening MSME development.
