The Local Government Unit of Santol, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development through the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), successfully conducted the Ceremonial Awarding of Seed Capital Fund held at the Santol Town Plaza last May 13, 2026.
The activity was attended by various Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) from the different barangays of the municipality, who received assistance aimed at strengthening their livelihood projects and improving their economic opportunities.
During the program, messages of support and encouragement were delivered by LGU and DSWD representatives, including Honorable Maria Theresa Lynn Wailan-Senen, who reaffirmed the commitment of the LGU in supporting community-based livelihood initiatives and empowering every kakaiLYaNN toward sustainable growth and self-sufficiency.
The ceremonial awarding benefited the following SLPAs: Gawi-Gawis Tubaday SLPA, Binadang Tubaday SLPA, Tubaday Proper SLPA, Puguil Softbroom SLPA, Puguil Agri-Tribo SLPA, Makagud Sasaba SLPA, Kasiyana Sasaba SLPA, Ramot Swine Producers SLPA, Lettac Sur Agri-Print SLPA, Siglat Lettac Sur SLPA, Lettac Norte Talipapa SLPA, Lettac Norte Agri-Unity SLPA, Itan PGA Corro-oy SLPA, and Corro-oy Community Enterprise SLPA.
This initiative reflects the continuing efforts of the LGU and DSWD in providing opportunities that promote livelihood development, financial empowerment, and inclusive progress for the people of Santol.
