𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝑨𝒍𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒐 𝑶𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆 𝑺𝒓. 𝑵𝑯𝑺 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒔 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑲𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒚 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒕 2026 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒈

Alberto Olarte Sr. National High School (AOSNHS) earned recognition as one of the new Khan Academy implementers in the Davao Region during the 2026 Pasidungog: Recognizing School Khan Academy Implementers, held at the Herminigildo Baloyo, MD Hall Tagum City on May 13.

Representing the school in receiving the recognition were School Principal Ma’am Kristine Escuadra and Ma’am Samielyn Mecaydor, one of the school’s Khan Academy implementers, who accepted the award on behalf of Alberto Olarte Sr. NHS.

The recognition highlighted schools and educators that actively adopted the Khan Academy platform to strengthen digital learning and promote academic excellence in the region.

Also present during the event were Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo and Assistant Regional Director Rebonfamil R. Baguio of DepEd Region XI, who expressed their support for the continued integration of modern educational technologies in teaching and learning.

In his message, Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo emphasized the importance of integrating Khan Academy in schools, saying:

The event underscored the region’s commitment to advancing digital learning initiatives and recognizing schools that actively embrace innovative educational tools.
